Default Bullpup conversion kits!

I keep running into a bunch of bullpup conversions for "common" rifles.
AK's, SKS, AR's and M1a's even!

Wonder if any of them are featureless enough for Cali...

sks

Anybody ever shoot a converted rifle?

a few pics from the gallery I got the SKS from

NICE example, stray. My AUGs and M17s are among my fave rifles. I have had a few conversions before, most were less solid feeling than purpose built examples.

as hard as it is to believe, this is actualy research for a friend.
He was going to buy a SU-16 but told me that the lack of recoil might make him regret not getting a 308, then he mentioned that 308 is very expensive.
I suggested 7.62x39 but he hates AK's with a passion.
He asked me why the US military doesnt use bullpups, I did some google-ing and came across the SKS bullpups.

Im not against getting one for myself, and Im currently living out of state so the rules are a lot friendlier...

So he is now considering a few things, found a CA legal bullpup AR but the idea of the 7.62x39 has him interested in the SKS bullpup

If I could find an MSAR in 7.62x39 I would be happy, or one day [soon] if the price of 300blk drops a ton...

I got my Remington 700 5R on order...but I do love my M16 and cant turn away from the semi-auto platforms

Your friend is an IDIOT! How do you hate a rifle with a passion? That is the dumbest/funniest thing i've heard in a week.

I despise ignarance thats why this country is on the decline.
Good luck n rather than doing work for him tell him to do it himself maybe he'll get some wducation.
As for him not liking ak's if he hates them so much ask him why then explain to him the sks is the father of the ak
