I actually use a UTG case. It is surprisingly well made for the price. It is not the best case out there but in a pinch it is not bad at all. Zippers are holding up and it has pleanty of space for my rifle and mags.

or http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Tecn...SA-TFSB12.html First one will hold a broken down AR15, but not quite tall enough for an AR10 platform. Second one is 31" though and holds my 20" .308 AR upper nicely (if a little snugly).

I have this from Voodoo Tactical for my AR. It wasn't very expensive and holds all range gear, mags and 2 rifles. Highly recommended.

I went and felt up a voodoo at Sportsmans Warehouse last weekend.. I couldn't believe they were passing that off on people for $99 WHAT A JOKE... the thing was already coming apart and it still had the tags on it. vinyl backed "quality material" my ***... that stuff wouldn't last a week in the trunk of my car. for that price you may as well get some generic version at cheaper than dirt. Don't pay for Voodoo's name on the side
5.11 bag was no better at twice the cost, material was better but the design was horrible. still looking for a good soft case for my ARs. |

This is what I use here
It the best bag I have ever owned. I have only had it for about 4 months, so I cannot say for sure about longevity. However, the construction looks to be on par with quality manufacturers. I am already looking to buy another - this time maybe coyote tan ![]() The best thing about this case is that it holds everything you need for a diverse day at the range. 2 rifles, 2 handguns, tons of mags, and any accessories you need. Cheaper Than Dirt is out of stock on these periodically, but they can send you an email when they have them in stock. I wish CTD had better shipping rates, but that can be countered by buying more stuff you don't really need ![]()

UTG discreet. It's cheap and doesn't make you look like a tacti-fool.
Condor if you want the tacti-fool look, they're made very well (better then most condor gear) and on par with the 5.11 stuff that costs twice as much. -W |

My voodoo double case seems very well made, have had it for a couple of years now and it has held up to all kinds of abuse. Have also heard good thins of 5.11 . But because i have one, Voodoo gets my vote.

That UTG looks really nice. For cheap I might go with one of these: http://www.lapolicegear.com/lapg-36in-rifle-case.html |

I just use the cheap, $20 soft cases you see for sell at gun shows. They work just fine.

If you're just carrying the rifle to and from the trunk of your car you don't need a $100+ bag. Something like this (for $19) will work just fine: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/939...with-6-pockets
But it's your money... |

Plus one on the UTG. Fits my ar and ak, mags, and has a built in pistol holster. Held up great for a year and a half so far.

I picked up a US Peacekeeper at Turners on sale for my shotgun and love it. Has lots of velcro and came with a 3 mag pouch and a few rings for keeping everything in place. Best thing is I can use it to haul shotgun or AR or whatever as it's very long and can be mistaken for a guitar case so it doesn't shout "Hey look everyone hes got a gun"! which is a nice thing in my neighborhood.

I have two of these 42" double rifle cases, one in DE and one in black:
http://www.lapolicegear.com/511-tact...e-shotgun.html A little pricey at $150.00, but around x-mas I found them on sale for about $99.00 with free shipping from LAPG. I have yet to find a soft case that stacks up against it with the exception of the Eberlestock Gunslinger II Backpack at twice the price. I sling 2 full size AR's in each and while they are not the most comfortable backpacks to wear with a couple of rifles vertically, they are top notch in terms of quality and stitching ( I have had the DE one for about 3 years now.) I considered picking up a third for my shotty and bolt action. I also picked up a OPMOD case from DVOR when it was on sale for about $50 or $60 bucks. Not as nice as the 5"11 but not bad either: http://www.opticsplanet.net/opmod-sh...ifle-case.html |

My $39 GenX double gun bag does the job, its seriously is exactly the same as the Voodoo bag at half the price. It might be a paintball product, but seems to be just as good as my Voodoo bag. Its seriously exactly the same, probably from the same manufacturer. ok maybe the paracord on the zipper pulls is better on the Voodoo.

^^^ +1 I also use Voodoo Tactical and TAC Force Voodoo 42" holds TONS of stuff! I usually have an AK (PAP), an AR and two pistols, plus 12 single stack 10 rd PAP mags and 8 10 rd AR mags, plus 3-9x40 scope, plus gloves and small incidentals - I added a couple pouches to the webbing, one holds bipod, the other hold RDS and magnifier... I have also carried two rifles and a shotgun with all the ancillary stuff (no pistols) - there is never a need that I can't accommodate with this bag. I'm not sure why some people have mentioned poor quality from Voodoo Tactical - the bag I use has been tossed in bed of pick up truck, tossed in dirt and on wood benches - crammed full of stuff and has held up well... I've been to their warehouse and their surplus store next door, I've got several other Voodoo Tactical items (pouches, shotgun scabbards, tactical belts) all are great quality. For quick, small, easy, light carry - I just picked up a 33"TAC Force TTS bag... it's decent and gets the job done; not sure how long it will hold up but seems pretty durable... it's not as easy to get into as the Voodoo case, but it's much more compact. Holds AR (with collapsible stock only of course) and several mags plus a few incidentals. I'm happy with both and would recommend either... both can be found at decent prices if you check around. |

For the record I do not support CTD for the anti CA shipping policy...
But I do like this case for quick range trips or if you just have 1 AR to break down and toss some mags in and go.. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/CASE102-1.html
