Default FS: Hk P7M10 .40cal squeeze-cocker (PPT in Fresno County ONLY)

Up for sale is a pristine P7M10 chambered in .40S&W. This is a RARE blued finish model whereas the nickel M10's are more common. It includes factory brush and all accessories and 3 factory 10rd magazines. I'm selling this on behalf of a friend. He sold an identical pistol last year and has decided to sell it's identical twin.

KD date code and SN# 021-26XX

$3750 FIRM and private party transfer only in Fresno County.

email if interested. Only email will be responded to. I do not check or browse the forums often, so EMAIL ONLY.

Please keep your comments to yourself if you do not agree to the price, The other identical P7M10 sold last year for the same price.

Thank you for considering this fine piece of Hk engineering.

SOLD for asking price by owner in June 2011 - This should give a reference for what the market is willing to pay for rare Hk pistols.

My P7M10 is also blued, and just a few hundred earlier than this one of SN# 021-24XX

I'll be keeping an eye on this - maybe next month!

TTT

Lots of inquiries, but no takers. (Wives kinda frown on a $3750 gun purchase).

Price still firm. It does not matter if anyone buys it or not. This M10 is a GEM!

hmmm

Date code suggests it was manufactured in 1993, yet the slide says made in West Germany which no longer existed after 1990. Interesting. Possibly manufactured prior to 1990, and marked as such, then assembled and coded after 1990. Don't know as I don't know much on HK pistols, but I find those small things interesting (one of the things I love most about my Sig 225 is that it was manufactured by a country that no longer exists).

And as for price, the ONLY P7M10 on Gunbroker right now is for $2,500, isn't the 'rarer' blued version (honestly, I don't know if it's rarer or not), and isn't in California where it's not on the safe list and can't be imported for sale. Sounds like a seller with a premium item in Californi asking for a premium for it; perfectly reasonable to me. I mean if you're going to ***** at this, why not ***** at every Mac pistol that sells for $1k when they go for $300 in free America, or any of the other 'premium' pistols in California.

Such a beautiful pistol....wish I had the money...

My assumption is that since the M10 is similar to the M13, I'm guessing they were assembled from existing parts made for the 9mm M13.

I remember reading on Hk Pro awhile back that the blued M10's were rare and that only 1000 or so were imported. I could be wrong, but I have only seen 3 blued ones ever. The most common ones I see are the nickel finish ones.

So now CA residents can't purchase and transfer a P7M10 unless the pistol is already in CA and reg'ed to a CA resident?

Yep, or the M13. Only the M8 is on the approved list.

Price is still FIRM. Seller will only sell for selling price. (I'm posting this for a friend).

The P7M10, P7M13 and P7M8 share a lot of parts in common - the main difference being single/double stack frame.

I believe there were 2000 nickel and 1000 blue guns made. Strangely enough, most of the guns I've seen in person were blue (all 3 of mine are blue).

This gun looks nice and you can't import them to CA any more.

Close. More like 3000 nickel and 1000 blue. Strangely enough I've also seen more blued for sale than nickel.
