Sorry to de-rail the thread for a moment, but noticed you have a saiga 12 currently being converted. May I ask who is doing your conversion? I just put down on my S12 and Im sourcing parts/labor and it would help me out.

Funny you should mention the Saiga-12. I have all the parts from Carolina Shooter Supply sitting in my closet, just waiting to go, but I haven't had time to take it out in it's stock configuration just to test fire it. I just wanted to buy one when it was still $500.00

I know, it had the pretty paper wrapped around the hand guard. Mark from TRAP asked if I'd like to look at it one more time before it gets locked up. Oh I did!

Great price, I couldnt wait any damn longer and settled for 699. I bent over and took it, but on the bright side I get my S12 in 10 days

Congrats on the new rifle!

So I'm picking this rifle up this Friday 11/18. Should I go through and lube it first, or should I just go to the range and see what it can do right out of the box?

(curious as I'm AR shopping as well)

What's the going rate for the M&P15s right now? I'm planning to build a his and her set but it seems to be cheaper to just buy complete. Nice rifle BTW.

Nice rifle. I know we are restricted here in Cali....but I love the look of the 10/30!

Grats on your first AR of many AR's Should throw a short review/range report up on the thread ZT started http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=490629 Try to keep all the sport feedback to one thread for future buyers to read through.

Thats the plan. That thread sold me! I already want to build a .22 AR...I can justify that one by piecing it together
