RAW? Out of state? Or are you actually doing classes and drills with a bullet button?

UPS finally showed up with the final piece for my Dissipator today (the RRA "tactical carry handle" rear sight).

Topped it with a PA aimpoint clone.

Parts breakdown:

Stag LPK
DPMS A2 stock kit (they're on sale at Midway right now)
Ergo Ambi Suregrip
PSA midlength hammer-forged dissipator upper, complete with BCG
RRA Tactical carry handle rear sight
Primary Arms 30mm red dot

CHS, that RRA rear sight is awesome! How much was it? Wilson combat makes one similar but it so expensive and no one ever had them in stock.

Is that lower a chainsaw lower? Been thinking about getting one just because of the cross logo

GP,

Yes, we will also offer the upper seperately.

We will have pricing and ETA's for both the rifle and upper posted this week

Keep an eye on our vendor section and website.

Thanks,
Chris

Thank you.

We have been working on getting this new rifle to market the past few months, and they are so nice to handle and shoot!

The combination of the rifle length system, the barrel profile (just a little thicker than Govt. Profile), and the gas block really make the Addax Dissipator Rifle and Upper a dream to shoot, and very accurate.

The Flash Suppressor (AFS-556), is an updated / enhanced version of the Addax Phalanx Flash Suppressor we released last year.

We made it 2.5" long (.5" longer than the Phalanx), which is ideal for 14.5" pin and weld configurations, and in most cases you can install it without the need for a crush washer. This is a very effective flash suppressor, with improved performance over the original Phalanx.

The AFS-556 works and looks great on SBR's, Dissipators, AR15's, SIG556's, ACR's and FN SCAR16.

$29.99 when they become available soon.

Finally got my dissipator last week. Model 1 sales 7.62x39 on a Spikes lower and Spikes enhanced lpk. This isn't quite the final project but will remain as so until LaRue finally makes their stocks available. Had a chance to shoot it Saturday. No issues at all with the 3 ASC mags I got. Was a blast to shoot. Just need to get the whole shooting with irons dialed in.

what magazines do you use for the 7.62x39?
shooting with IRONS is very rewarding!

edit: nvm... I read it and realized you already said ASC

Awesome. Definitely going to need to pick one up sometime this year. (all projects are currently on hold pending delivery of Little Getto ;D) I just got a Black Hole Weaponry barrel for my AR308, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

That's what I keep telling myself ever time a think it would be fun to put a Primary Arms compact 3x scope on it.

btw, this rifle is a result of this thread and I blame its purchase entirely on you. Hah!

HAHA! yes! I must confess... the real reason I made this thread is to bring more people to the "herd" so I can have people to discuss a common interest in!

On a side note: video from last outing. I cut the audio because I swore a lot when I realized that none of the mags in my pouches were full... @&*%

BUT, the plus side to this is that you get to see how using a 100% legal bullet button, and a little thing called a g-pik isn't really that bad compared to not having a thumb

when your muscle memory is "*click*, safety on, observe bolt locked back, drop mag, insert new mag, slap, bolt forward, safety off, squeeze" that is a lot of **** going on to try and throw a completely new design into, such as a MM or wing grip

I'm glad it works for you, I tried it and wasn't pleased at all - I'm sure I could get used to it... but I found a pretty good solution to releasing the magazine - and I don't own hi-cap magazines for my .223 AR

I had read that it cowitnesses just fine (lower 1/3) with the stock aimpoint mount. Unfortunately the PA mount is SLIGHTLY higher than a stock aimpoint mount, so it doesn't cowitness at all. I may actually try to track down an aimpoint mount to use with the PA.

Then go for it. I always push people to at least HOLD a couple featureless ARs before they write them off. If you've held them and they don't work, no problem. I hate MMGs, but grip wraps feel great for me.

sorry, fixed... couldn't edit from phone

and one more - you can hear the ejected casings hitting a can (my AZ tea can) pretty consistent ejection don't you think? and people say the design isn't reliable

we're laughing because during other filming I got about 5 hot casings down my shirt... and we thought we would see if we could get them to hit something consistently... should have filmed them actually hitting but I think next time we'll try and land 'em in a coffee can

One of our new ADDAX-BHW 16" LTR-D (Light Back Rifle Length Dissipator) barrels just off the machine.

Note: Extension still needs to be installed, muzzle end needs to be threaded, gas port hole needs to be drilled out, and the barrel needs to be coated black.

That's solid looking barrel. I would build another one if someone made a 300 black barrel.

I know, I've got a BHW on my AR308 right now.

I placed a cash/local pickup order 2 weeks ago, can't wait till they're ready....wanted to make sure I was on the list!

Yup, you are on the list, and we got your email. I hope to receive our first batch soon.

No offense but what are your rationales when practicing? If your going to act like your shooting from cover, you should put something in between you and the target for cover. Train how you fight, fight how you train.

Don't hurt your brain over-thinking it. This video was taken while a friend and I were out having fun while shooting stuff for a short zombie movie with some friends - using our cell phones we would see what shots looked like.. and this is from that. There was no scenario, no training, no thinking about it. we had been doing this a lot that day and a lot of my magazines only had a few rounds in them - surprised me when the first one didn't fire... since this weapon has never had a malfunction. I delayed a little bit while observing and then said **** really loud and decided to just keep shooting for the video.

if you're interested in seeing some actual training on camera, just let me know and that can be arranged... I'll be in Nevada next month - I'll be sure to shoot some stuff for ya there.

This is my old Bushmaster Dissipator pictured with friends, it must
have been Y2K because I sold it to by a Scout Squad M1A in 2001.
