Default AK 47 Mag lock

Can they be improved? I have a saiga and ak with solar tactical mag locks. THey are indeed needing a tool to work the release that I can never just hit and take the mag out quickly. Why cant there be a lock that is pressed with a tool and then the mag release is pushed forware and locks there?

Just wondering

You are more than welcome to design one. That's exactly how every mag lock has started.

not a hard idea. problem is machining time vs. california only market. if you were to machine a block with a hole angled so you could just push a bullet tip in would take more time, time=money. i really dont think there is enough of a market. if you can cnc a BB you can make a lot more profitable products. they are annoying but easy to master. practice.
