Default My new purchase

Well today started out as a normal day to the range but when I got there..........I saw this beauty sitting on the shelf. .308 JD Machine matched upper and lower, magpul stock, Everything else is Daniel Defense. In my excitement I forgot what the salesman said about the barrel but he mentioned it was machine gun rated. The coolest thing about it is that it was on consignment from one of our local UFC fighters. The salesman said he was gonna lookup the guys name for me because we have a few big name UFC fighters here in San Diego and it'd be awesome if it was someone well known. They were asking 2599 for it and I ended up walking out the door with a price of 2599.15 including tax, DROS, and 2 new magpul mags. He even let me sling some lead down range with it today. Pure awesomeness. Its my first rifle.

Sent from the rocket in my pocket, my all powerful DROID BIONIC.

Thanks man. I grew up shooting with my dad but it was all small caliber stuff .22,9mm. I just bought my first handgun last Sunday (Springfield XD45). I'd say a .45 and a .308 in one week is one heck of a good start for my first 2 firearms.

Thanks guys. This is gonna be looooong 10 days. I wanna start looking for a nice sight for it so if anyone has any suggestions that would be cool. Something along the lines of a red dot. I won't be doing any long range shooting .

Aimpoint T-1/H-1

Any eotech.

But that rifle is screaming for a 1-4 magnification scope.

Lol I may just have to get both eventually. Your right though it would be pretty sweet with a nice scope.

Good job man, 308 ARs are the ****. 16" 308s are very fun, especially when shooting stuff up close.

An aimpoint/eotech would be cool, but if you ever want to reach out a bit farther, check out the SWFA SS 1-4 scope. I have one on my 16" 308 LMT and it's a great general-purpose scope.
