Question Stoic Ventures - Combat Carbine 1

Does anyone have any experience with this course? Thinking of taking it out at Metcalf on 12/3, but I can't find much in the way of reviews or a real description of the curriculum (outside of the short description at the site). What little I was able to dig up implied that all shooting was within 15 yards. Just want to know a bit more before I drop $275 and a lot of ammunition on it.

Thumbs up Yes, highly recommend!

I have taken , Combat Carbine I & II as well as pistol and shotgun classes with Mike and he is an excellent instructor with a ton of hands on knowledge.
I plan to join you for that class, very happy he is continuing to conduct training in California!!

Send him an email, he is a straight forward guy.

Hard to give input without knowing your experience and goals.

What shooting exercises do you do in this class besides shooting from a few different positions, which is shown in the youtube vid? I emailed Mike Lamb but didn't get a clear response.

I understand that there is a mindset-psychology component which is cool, but I'm looking for more of an active tactical/combat course than doing what I can already to at the range.

I took this class before too. I highly recommend it. Whatever shooting level you are, you will benefit from it. you get to do a lot of things even in level 1 class.
The range at metcaf is 100 yards. You'll do some shooting at distance, but most is at shorter range.
