Haven't even gotten her out yet, but here is the start of my new setup.

Remington 5R
Murphy Precision 10moa base
American Rifle Company M10 Medium rings (I may get another set of low rings)
Factory HS Precision stock
Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 with 4" sunshade
Harris 1A2br 6-9 bipod.

Plans include a chassis of some sort, but I'm mixed on which one, Viper PST Bushnell elite tactical, or nightforce scope in the distant future, Cut barrel to 21" and thread for a Titan muzzle brake, Tac bolt handle, Timney or trigger of my choosing to lighten it up, and other odds and ends that will come down the line. I may also do a water transfer pattern on the action and barrel in something that I like.

Its not TERRIBLE, but I would like to get the scope a bit closer to the bore with some lower rings. I ended up with medium because I couldn't get a straight answer from ARC about the measurements and I didn't want to screw it up. They are flat AMAZING though and I will buy them over any other brand of rings any day of the week. They have FAR surpassed my expectations and better for almost $200 per pair of rings.

Officially have them swapping out for the low rings, and should be here this coming week.

My first attempt at a long range rifle build.

- Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308 Win
- Choate Tactical stock
- EGW 20 moa base
- Harris 6-9 Bipod
- Burris medium Xtreme rings
- Primary Arms 4-14 FFP

I have adjusted the eye relief since this photo was taken. I also probably could of gotten away with lower rings.

You could just hydrodip your stock into whatever pattern you want. Save a few bucks on buying a new A5

Default New 300 Win Mag

Here is pics of my newest. I just picked up my new 26" .300 Win Mag Remington 700 5R 1:10 and dropped it in its Mcree G5 folding chassis. Finishing it off with Harris S-BRM 6-9" Bipods and Badger Ordnance Maximized 34mm Scope Rings. Waiting (Aug.) for my new Bushnell HDMR (ET35215Z) 10 Mil-Rev / 0 Stop and Nightforce Scope base... Im bout 99% sure I'm keeping it Stainless / Silver, because it looks so BA !!!. I have my own Cerakote shop so I can coat it when ever if I change my mind.

Soon I'll be touchin'em past a mile, will update when finished.

Man, if you haven't gotten the NF base already, look at Murphy Precision bead blasted or polished stainless bases. They are VERY nice bases and would look sweet on that rig.

Very blingy.

Thanks brother. I will eventually coat it... but once it was together I kind of fell in love with it. Its unique...lol. The scope will be all black, but you are right... a stainless base would look great. Ill definitely take a look at the MP base. Thanks.
