If it made it in the trailer I'm sure sammy's got it. There is some guy out there with his squads clipboard in his rifle bag. It happens about once a year. I've done it myself once for a pistol match. Emailed in scans of all the sheets.

Guys in my squad, not to worry I saw ours in the pile.

To take a cue from Pala, Sammy's dumpster diving right now for them. For sure, we're good as I took a quick peek through them to find the fastest times of the day. So, Kerry D's squad is accounted for as well.

Hey guys,
I'm a USPSA pistol shooter but a multigun n00b. I've been itching to join you guys for my first stab at 3-Gun. How often and when are your matches?*

*I can't say I'm well equipped, so I'd appreciate an honest assessment of just how handicapped I may be when I come out:

Production XD9
Mossberg 500 Pump (5+1)
AR - Bullet Button 10rd (iron sights)

Aside from my 5 pistol mags and XD mag pouches, I've got a couple shotshell speed strippers, and 4 1Ord AR Mags (but no AR mag pouches at present).

I'm saving for a scope (any recommendations in the $300 range?) but aside from that would appreciate any advice as to where I should prioritize my purchases on a limited 3-Gun budget.

Thanks and hope to shoot with you guys soon!

Hey man, the matches are monthly and schedule-wise, everything is posted on x3multigun.com.

For equipment, you're good on the pistol.
For shotgun, if you must shoot a pump, can you get an extension for it? Capacity is very important so 8+1 would be the minimum. If not, just shoot what you have.
For a rifle optic, look hard at the Burris TAC-30/MTAC. And there is a CA 10 rnd class for bullet button shooters but I'd strongly recommend a featureless AR so you can use high caps.
Welcome to the sport!

Sounds like you're good to go, man! Have you shot any pistol comps yet? If not, you should be to learn the safety protocols, range commands and rules of the game. There's a Piru Action Pistol match this Saturday too!

Perfect, quals met!
BTW, what optic are you running on your AR? A lot of new folks have trouble on the long range flashers so it's a good idea to check your holds on the Hole In The Wall range before the match, if you are an X3 member.

Can anyone give me their opinion on the Blade-Tech Tek-loc Double Mag Pouch? Does it fit PMags? Thanks much!

PMAGs will probably fit although I wouldn't carry double mag pouch As 2 30 rounders attacked like that tends to flop around too much on my belt. I'd rather have 2 single AR pouches.

I have the blade tech tek-loc single mag holders that are designed the same way. they fit. I'd let you handle them up at X3...but there is a chance I will not make it this time....AHHHH it makes me so sad...

I also agree with Superset, Two singles if you want to have two mags.

October 21st,

Weather looks really nice mid 70's. Tell all your buddies to get off the couch!

The usual compliment of slugs, Bird, Buck, Pistol and Rifle. Rembember to bring plenty of fluids and something to eat. It's a dry range and their is no food or drinks available.

The stages are listed below and will be on the website by this evening

www.x3multigun.com

Please arrive early to ensure that you get to shoot with your friends as we will limit the squads to 8 men until all squads are full. Sign ups start at 8:00 and shooters meeting at 9:00am

A reminder that we do not allow steel core or steel jacketed ammunition on the range, it is your responsibility to know what you are shooting.

See you Sunday.

I was joking about the snacks. Im kinda new too so I wont be able to help much. But it looks like no buck is required, but I always have about 15 shells on me at a match anyway. I learned the hard way one match, always bring more than what u think u will need. 00 is fine. 15 round winchester value packs can be found.

Just got back from the range. You will probably not need any buck. There is no buckshot targets and no double spinner. There are some small plates at distance. If you do not have something like a mod choke I would be thinking about some high base 4's.

That was a tough match. Everyone was tested. Sammy because he was not shooting talked all manner of trash.

The pistol definitely exposed some people. When was the last time you heard that at a 3 gun match.

Would it make you mad to tell you I went 1 for 1 one the skinny mini's, 3 shots 3 hits.

To bad I screwed up on all the other stages, and that little slot on the long rifle stage taught me a lesson

Yeah if one person starts aiming, other people are going to do that aiming stuff too. Downward spiral.

tim got me with those 6" plates far out on the sides on the shredder stage. i got every one on the first or second shot but the last one on the left took like 10 seconds for me to hit that dang thing.

my revenge was to game the clays and throw 2 quick rounds in the dirt rather than risk the mike no shoot.

We went prone for the clays with one foot in the box. It got it done. Tim tried to freehand it and delighted us with 3 no shoots on the front hostage and 5 no shoots on the hostage w/ the clay. It still makes me giggle.

Are you talking about the "shredder stage"? I did fairly well on those clays.
That was however the most challenging shooting I've done in a while, and I sucked at just about everything else! LOL I actually forgot my shell carrier on one stage... I was like hey RO you got any shells on you...

ha ha karma got him on his own stage! now thats funny.

by some miracle i managed to shoot the clays clean on the jungle run, but then i realized my scope was 2 clicks off when i started shooting the minis. at least i got to adjustt it before i got to stage 6, cause that would have been a disaster if i didnt catch that my zero was off on stage 4.
