Default Primitive Pistol - $100 - Sac Valley - 31 January

Primitive Pistol

This course will share the basic techniques, principles, and concepts to effectively engage and disable a deadly force threat by reinforcing pistol shooting fundamentals as well as introduce the student to defensive shooting, basic tactical skills, handgun/equipment manipulation, malfunction drills, empty gun and tactical reloading, target selection, verbal commands and a basic introduction to the effects of stress and adrenaline on the shooter.

We call it “primitive” because it’s just that; the early stages of the evolutionary process of defensive shooting. Just because something is primitive doesn’t mean it isn’t effective. It’s not top tier, it’s not advanced. It’s the raw basics of pistol defense but even the basics can still often be challenging.

There is SOME running in this course. It is ENCOURAGED. Running is NOT mandatory. If you have a condition that prevents you from a certain drill or exercise, don't hurt yourself by trying to show off. Preform at YOUR best.

Do you need to renew or modify a CCW (See website for cities/counties) or BSIS Gun Card? Use this course for no additional cost!

PRICE: (Range fee included in price)
$100
Registration for this will open 4 January 2015 and done thru our website.
A $50 deposit is required. The remainder may be paid the day of the class.

7 Days Prior Refund:
If something comes up and you can’t attend after you register, you have until 25 January 2016 to cancel your registration and get your full $50 deposit back or you can use that deposit for a different scheduled course

If you are a deploying military member slotted for Iraq or Afghanistan (orders required) you may take this course for the range fee.

If you're a currently in a police academy, employed by a police dept, employed as an armed security guard, or are currently serving in ANY branch of US service, you may take 2 regularly scheduled classes per calendar year for the range fee (usually $14.)
PM us if you'd like to take advantage of this.

Yup! Unless we can't keep the targets up or the range closes, we're gettin' it!

I changed this course format up slightly so I'd love your input as a prior student; few new drills, increased round count, etc.

So this isn't for charcoal burners? Damn, I got my hopes up. I haven't ever taken a defensive pistol course designed for flintlocks.
