Default Have You Heard Of A "New Helvetia" Or "NHM" Gun Dealer In Sac.?

Someone wrote me about a 1953 Colt Police Positive he has that has the markings "NHM Co. Sac" on it and wondered if I recognized it. I said I didn't but found a "New Helvta" on "New Helvetia" marked Uzi discussed in another forum. Perhaps it was a dealer that supplied police departments, I don't know. There's an importer listed now (New Helvetia) but they don't mention guns. Do these initials or this name ring a bell to anyone? Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify, NHM was their importer name. If you remember the good 'ol days, you'll remember their ads in Shotgun News. I forwarded this to OP, but there's some good info here:
