Default Make a cool gun cooler?

The Ruger Gunsite Scout is one of the most impressive rifles I picked up this year. With it's detachable mag, added surefire MB and TD Bipod, it's made me reconsider my Obama-destroys-the-economy grab and go rifle battery. How could it be cooler?

XS Sight Systems figured out one way -- they've come up with a longer picatinney rail that replaces the factory fore end rail and extends back to the rear sight, increasing scoping options --

Scout and regular eye relief scopes with QD rings can now be mounted where you need them --

The rail screws into the original Ruger barrel mounting holes (BTW, the factory screws were not even tight ) plus one replacing the rear sight assemble -- installed in about fifteen minutes because I was trying not to lose any screws. And the XS GSR rail includes a windage and elevation adjustable rear aperture sight as well --

$90. If you grabbed one of the Scouts check it out --

Nice, I'd like to see a picture of the entire gun with the new rail if you have one

When the scout first came out, I handled it and wasn't too impressed.
But after looking at your rifle, I started to like it. Hhhmmmm... I see another purchase in the near future.

Cool

Time to see if they make one for the M1A Socom 16.

I've melted down one cheap red dot so far and I'm afraid to put real money on it now.

I'll check it out.

Your opinion has always been valued and appreciated here.

Thanks, Pete.
