Default WTS: Beretta Model 100 7.65mm/.32ACP (OC)

SPF

Uncommon (esp. in CA) Beretta Model 100 semiauto pistol. This gun was made in 1971 and so is NOT C&R. It is a 10-shot .32ACP/7.65 Browning, medium-frame Beretta that is mechanically identical with the .22 cal Model 70 and 71, except for the center-fire firing pin. This one is the lightweight model which has a black anodized aluminum frame; rest of gun is blued steel. This model has a magazine release button on the side of the grip, not the heel-type release of the earlier medium-frame Berettas like the 1934.

Has a 5.9" barrel with fully adjustable rear sight and post front. Marked "Pietro Beretta, Gardone, VT 7.65" on right side of slide; "PB Made in Italy Mod. 100" on left side of slide, "Garcia Sporting Arms, Washington, D.C." on right side of frame. Garcia was Beretta's main importer in the 1970s. Has "XX7" (date of proof mark for 1971) and Italian postwar proofmarks on right side of alloy frame.

Comes with two Beretta-mfr 9-round magazines marked "PB 7.65 Made in Italy" and an unfitted new 3 1/2" barrel to make it the same size as a Model 70.

This gun is next thing to new: 95%+ bluing (tiny bit off sharp top edges of slide, TINY scratch on left front of slide, tiny amount off the sharp corners of the muzzle). 100% black anodizing on aluminum frame; perfect black plastic PB grips. Bore of long barrel is shiny near new; short barrel IS new.

I can't do pictures (picture illiterate) but you can see a Model 100 and read a little (but accurate) review of it at
http://averagejoeshandgunreviews.blo...istol-in-7.htm

Asking $220 for this; buyer pays transfer fee. Will transfer at any Orange County or nearby LA County dealer mutually agreed with buyer.

Please ask questions/make comments by PM; all will be answered to the best of my ability.

Only trade I'd consider is a blue 16", 21" or 23" factory T-C Contender Carbine barrel in .223, .222, .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .30-30. 35 Rem, or .375 Win. No wildcats or .45-70, please.

Thanks for reading!

FYI,if anybody really wants to read that little review I mentioned, just try doing a search for Beretta Model 100. I can't link to it directly from calguns either, but I found it with a simple google search. Just remember to look for the "averagejoes" tag among what your search engine turns up.
