So when did Inland make a M1 Garand? Carbine maybe?

Maybe it was an International?

Wish I had seen it sooner. I'd like to be second in line if Ivanimal falls through (which he wont ).

CORRECTION: On the side of the reciver it says:

M-1 RIFLE CAL. 30-06
MADE IN USA BY CAI. GEORGIA, VT USA

(I don't know a whole lot about M-1 history but what I do know is I put 165 rounds of Greek surplus 30-06 through this thing and i't a fine weapon)

Look at the rear of the receiver behind the rear site- it should have the receiver mfg stamped. Century could be the importer and assembler of a bunch of parts.

Cast receiver with used parts. This won't qualify as C&R either. Do you have any better close-up shots?

Century made M1 Garand clones for a while on their own receivers.

SOLD

Sorry for my ignorance regarding the rifle's genealogy. On another note, I put it up on CL for $600.00 and have 3 "I'll take it" emails in as many hours... but then again it's CL so only one of them is probably genuine.
