Default I'm almost there, I almost have them all!

I never thought I would say it but I am very close to having the collection I want, I am only three guns away from it, which I would say is close.

Holy Grail 1911 - TRP Operator Full Rail. Got It
Holy Grail 9mm - Blackwater Tactical. Got It
Holy Grail Combat .45 - HK45. Got It.
Nice 22 LR Semi Auto. Got It.
Holy Grail Compact 9mm - Sig P228 made in Germany. Got It.
Holy Grail Semi-Auto 12 Ga. FN SLP MKI. Got It.
Ar-15 Set up just how I like it. Got it.
.308 Bolt action Remington 700 set up how I like it. Got it.
10/22 Set up how I like it. Got it.

Now for the sad part, what I don't have

Smith and Wesson 627 V-Comp
.308 AR-10
Desert Eagle XIX .44 Mag.

Is this a pointless thread? Yes.
But does it have pics of nice guns? Yes.
Then it's OK to make pointless threads as long as pics are in it.

How can a collection ever be complete? Every time I think I have all that I want some shiny or blued or stainless firearm catches my eye

I kid - One can tell from your collection that's not what you're in to -

Best on finding the rest -

My wife says to me -"Why can't you just be thankful and content with what you DO have, instead of coveting what you DON'T have"

She's right of course, but I cant HELP it!!

Actually, I have found that if I thank the Lord for the toys that He has allowed my to have, it helps me to not focus on what I dont have.

You're right tiger, I do covet what I don't have. And as soon as I get what I wanted, I am on to wanting the next thing. I should just appreciate what I have nowBut I still want more!

I actually am not totally sure what model it is, I thought it was a Model 15. It was my Grandfathers gun when he was a reserve for montebello PD.

Gti, I wasn't going for the tactical look, I went for what I like and what shoots well for me, maybe being a LEO influences my decisions. The main reason I purchased the p226 were the options like SRT and 20 round mags that I though would be a benefit and an advantage for a duty weapon.

Love it..!...

Those are valuable (and in some cases future Collector $ pieces)

In fact, some of those guns I would never shoot. Just hold them once in a while..LOL.

What do you shoot for FUN.?..(Range Gun that you can shoot the heck out of)

I own about 60 handguns.....some are NIB or super clean, for example my
Colt Series 70 National Match (GoldCup) worked over by Jim Hoag. I don't shoot it because it's too collectable and valuable. For Range work I shoot a
Series 80 (FP safety removed) that is a SHOOTER..and my GLOCKS, which
just keep on running and running.

What are your RANGE guns..?

Be well and keep on collecting..you can never have too many GUNS.

Bob

Oceanbob, every single gun in the pictures is my range gun, they all get used as often as I can shoot. I used to have safe queens and sold em all, in fact I have sold quite a few firearms lately as I want fewer firearms of better quality than many guns of mediocre quality.

60 guns is a LOT, I will probably never have that many, I had 30 guns at one time, but it really was too many to enjoy when I went to the range.

One78, I already have my reloading setup I load everything on a single stage and enjoy it. I am drooling and jealous of your eagle.

seriously, I've said the same thing. Just one more gun and my collecting is complete, and then all of a sudden I see something at the store or in someone else's collecting and it's off to DROS again...

Regardless what a sexy sexy collection.

THIS!!! Or you can settle for a Blaser or Kreighoff. But yes, get a Holland and Holland. I also don't see a Royal Over Under in that collection... Get on it, OP

I don't have an end to my collection. I am wanting a few pieces still (mainly a 547 and 58) but after that I just buy whatever I find that is a good deal and a s&w revolver. Like just recently I found a 629 P&R for $575 or about 250-300 under priced. Had the money so I snatched it up. Was not really looking for another 629 but it was a good deal. Have to keep an open mind and the guns you really want will come your way at some point.
