Default I Used to Hate Scandium Revolvers

When i first saw a S&W scandium revolver I almost threw up. But when I found myself longing for a revolver I ended up with 2:

and I have to say I love em both but then again, I only like revolvers.

im usually a traditionalist when it comes to revolvers, but i hafta admit those look super bad ***. I have yet to try a scandium revolver. those guns with that ammo just looks super intimidating. i would hate to be an intruder in your home. hope you enjoy those!

Yup, they look good with those Black Talons. I've never held a Scandium revolver myself. What advantages do they have?

Wow, they look great!
I find myself ever more interested in the N frame 8-shot .357 concept, and "airweight" type guns really push my buttons.
That one looks just about perfect to me.
Well done, sir!

Waiting for a range report...

Weight.

They weigh almost half of what the steel framed guns weigh, and about 75% of what the Aluminum alloy guns weigh.

They also kick like a mule from what I've heard, just because they are usually strong enough to shoot .357mag and much lighter than the steel framed guns, so they come by the reputation honestly.

Thumbs up

I've got the 41 Magnum version. Model 357, go figure?

It feels like a water pistol and has drawn blood from several of my friends who didn't believe me about wearing gloves.

They are easily scratched so be careful around concrete benches and other guns.

Always loved the way they looked, but I'm still a fan of tried and true stainless steel. The extra weight really helps with recoil.
