Talking Tweaker

I put two kits together and ran a string of lights for each shelf. I'm running a 1.5 amp transformer (wall wart) in the safe and wanted to be sure, really sure, it wasn't on when the door is closed (I know, I'm a tweaker).

Radio Shack part number 273-055A is a 12 volt dc mini buzzer that sells for $3.59. It draws just 15mA and makes a 75dB buzzing noise. I put it on a mating mini-connector for the end of the lights when I was testing the location of the switch. Worked like a charm.

Almost Labor Day weekend bump.

Also, that's a really good idea Bladeshark, I will consider adding that as an option. Thanks.

well got mine today easy to install, but i had to splice a 18" wire in for the two 48" to be able to go across my safe floor, my safe is only 28" wide. i did add the 20" extra light on top. battery pack sit in the right bottem corner ( out of my way ) and roller switch is at the bottem opening of the door. pic i had of it didnt come out. oh yea the wire are tucked up out of the way now.

Bump....Sub95, if you use the 20" strip to run across the top of the safe, then you don't have to splice in additional wires, BTW, your safe looks nice.

Got mine last week! Super bright and excellent construction. Can't wait to install it! Ordered up a small AC adapter for the interior outlets.

Thanks again,

the 20" is on top, you can see the wire hanging there in the pic.

I started on the left side with the 48" 3-4" from the top and worked down across the bottem ( splice ) then back up to the 48" then to the 20" across the top, rocker switch and battery pack are at the bottem right corner out of the way.

Nor Cal bump, come see us at Cow Palace, if you purchase the Large Safe kit and mention Calguns, I will throw in either a AC adapter or an extra 20" light strip. Thanks.

I'm very happy with my LED safe light kit, but I would like to make an extension cable to re-route the wires to make it cleaner. What are the connector you use on the end of the LED strips and where can I get them. I understand that these are the kind you crimp the pin on the end of the wire and insert them into the nylon housing, but they make so many different types I can not figure out which ones there are. Please help, thank you .. Andrew

Any idea what the average run time is on the batteries?

Also, I have to say that this is an AWESOME product and thank you for improving our lives!

How late will you be at the gun show on Saturday?

Picked up one from you at the Cow Palace show today. As I took everything out to examine, I can see the quality in the connections and components. Great job. Hook up will be this week sometime. Can't wait to get it going.

I bought an extra one of these and ran in in a tight space over my workbench. Nice light without taking up much room. Love these kits.

Just installed my lights I purchased from the show. I'm amazed at how much light they produced. Thanks for the extra 20" strip of lights.

Default Happy Customer

I stopped by Lite Tech’s booth on Saturday at the Cow Palace gun show and asked if there was any possible way I could have a custom kit made that I could walk away with and Lite Tech delivered. Having a smaller safe I only needed 2 20” strips with the battery pack and a door trigger. We worked out a price which I was more than happy with, then after letting him know that I was already sold off all the pics on calguns he asked if I was a member to which I replied yes then he offered me a discount.

Awesome company and great service! Support Lite Tech and here are some pics of my little install. Sorry for the terrible cell phone pics, I'm too lazy to grab the DSLR.

On a side note, he also let me know that he is working on a small safe kit to start producing but for now just let them know what you need and they can put one together.

Picked up the large kit at the last Cow Palace show. Awesome product! Way brighter than the rope light I had already installed before purchasing these. Hardest part about the installation was deciding where to mount the lights.

Just ordered another one of these kits for a second safe. They really are easy to install and work great. The price is right, too.

I ordered and received one of these kits; thank you. The wires inbetween the LEDs are a little too long and I'd like to tidy them up. What would you recommend as the best way to attach the wires together other than a plastic nut?

I got mine and am quite pleased. Same thing on the wires. I coiled them and used a velcro piece to stick them against the carpeting and out of the way.
