Wideners @$229/1k

weren't these the one's people are warning about kboom?
I've read warnings about buying a small amount to test in your gun first. Some people don't like this ammo.

I've heard its better than the Indian stuff but it's still pretty poor. No first hand experience but that's have I've heard.

The one problem I see with this is it says "copper plated steel jacket"
Most ranges here will not let us shoot steel jackets.

I've shot 200+ rounds of the stuff in my M1A with no problems.

I ordered from Wideners and it is pretty good ammo. It is magnetic so I only used it out in the desert(saves me from using my SA or ARG). I have no problems with it and my M1A didn't have any fte, ftf or anything else. Good for plinking.

Thanks for the input guys. How is this stuff consistency wise. Also, would you consider fairly clean or dirty stuff based on other surplus you've tried. Thanks for any add'l info. c good

Ditto. It seems a little more reliable than SA for FTE/FTS problems. Dunno why.

For me it was as dirty as the SA. I really didn't do any groups that day since I wasn't planning on doing a report on it but it was decent ammo. I will buy some more when the wallet recovers .
