Got to love those boots. I really like how the blue and tan compliment one another.

Haha this guys can be arrested. I saw a CNN or cnbc or something where a d bag bought about the same amount of medals and a uniform and pretended to be a war vet at his like 30 year class reunion and some actual vet looked at his medals and looked him up and he found he was a fake and the guy got arrested for impersonating a gov officsl and all these charges and went to prison for a good while.

Kinda sad they can't grow balls and actually sign up to try to get chicks they have to fake it totally and can't make up a story with some truth... FAIL!

the unfortunate problem, was this guy was enlisted, and made it to senior airman. and just like the other guy you hinted to, who i also believe was also a military vet, they had to make it look like they did more.

What I really don't get is why all these d-bags choose the ridiculously high awards to fake the funk with. Guys wearing the Medal of Honor, Navy Cross/Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Stars ect. And it's not just one of them. They wear them ALL!!

To the active/former service members, we all know what those are and what it takes to get something like that and can spot posers. But to the normal non military personnel, they are just of bunch of pretty colors and don't know what they mean. So logically thinking, if you are going to fake the funk why wear awards that are going to get you called out. Then again, if they are going to do something that stupid, you don't have logic and are pretty effed up in the head.

Yes. It's a campaing cover and there is a gold army emblem on the front. Infantry is known for blue. So there will be a vkue disc around the emblem. The only way to have a green is he had the green barret special forces. All the drill sgts at Benning had blue disks except for my Sr drill Sgt. He had green

Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. I might be talking out of my @$$ on this one, but I believe you can get it in Basic if you qualify. I may be wrong and you have to be permanant party at a base, can't remember. I got mine after I was in for a couple of years.

And I'm not sure of the qualification for the National Defense Service Medal, but you might be able to get that thing too coming out of basic.

Aside from his prancing around in that...costume? (I'm not going to call it a uniform).
The posts on his Facebook about women and begging for sympathy and attention from them are just pathetic, faker or not.
What the hell posses a guy to go out and spend hundreds of dollars on all that crap and do that?

He even says he is a "multiple wounded veteran with PTSD and might be deployed again and is praying for a KIA"....what is wrong with people?

Lets see if he is serious. Send him out on a couple of lone patrols in that uniform in Now Zad and if he makes it back alive he can keep every one of those medals. If he ends up losing his head (literally) then its what he wanted.

By the way, a prior service Air Force Vet came into the Navy at Great Lakes in 1979. He had ribbons on his uniform all the way to his shoulder like the idiot shown on the day he started Fire Control Technician "A" school. He was wearing a Medal Of Honor ribbon! He lasted up until the Chief got to him during our first inspection. Never saw him again!
Actually brother,

Navy SEALs all wear a golden Trident. Established on 16 October 1970, the insignia recognizes those service members who have completed the Navy’s Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) training, completed SEAL Qualification Training and have been designated as U.S. Navy SEALs.
The Special Warfare insignia was initially issued in two grades, being a gold badge for officers and silver for enlisted. In the 1970s, the Silver SEAL badge was abolished and the Special Warfare Badge was issued thereafter in a single grade(Gold). The SEAL badge is therefore unique in the Navy in that it is one of the few badges issued in a single grade for both officers and enlisted personnel. This is partly due to the combined training that both officers and enlisted receive, side by side, when involved in BUD/S training.

Just saying my .02 Like someone else said in this post, if you don't know you won't know how to look for a fake. There are a lot of guys wearing the Trident who have not earned it. So if you see a fake call a fake.

They'll build your rack for you.

I'd like to get hold of my dad's DD214 and put together a tribute shadow box with a photo of him from 1944 and his ribbons and sleeve, but since he's alive, I can't get the DD214 without him knowing and I want to do this as a Christmas present.

Send him on a couple of lone patrols within 1/4 mile of Pendleton's main gate

After twenty years I think I was up to four rows. Wasn't in anything but working uniforms for my last 7ish years (yeah I did a good job of dodging ceremonies), lost track.

Actually, it's four; I had National Defense Service, BMT Honor Graduate, Expert Marksman and BMT Grad.

Six years later, I have 7. Yes, the AF is pretty liberal with how it hands out 'fruit salad'. The frequency with which ribbons get added to racks serves to diminsh the value of many of them. You don't need a ribbon just to denote that you managed to graduate BMT...the privilege of wearing the uniform itself is better than any ribbon. The ribbon diminishes this.

Watch the 'chair force' comments, I spent a 12 hour shift on my feet today, fixing broken airplanes. I may not carry a rifle, but I work my tail off.

How he ever even made it onto a military installation dressed that way baffles me. I'd have stopped him at the gate.

First hand experience, I see. 2A5X1L here. Bit of an REMF, no GWOT Exp. ribbon...yet. I'm sure I'll get sent someplace hot eventually.
