Default Jericho 941 Baby Eagle custom grips W/Pics

Unfortunately there isnt much out there in the way of aftermarket parts for this little guy. Too bad as its a great pistol to shoot.

Im sure they arent for everyone but I kinda like them. PITA to find and get out of Japan. Then spent 2 hours 'massaging' them to fit properly without any stress points. Airsoft is on the left for comparison.

Lear,

Those are some unique grips on BE on the right. Where did you find those?

I regret not buying a Baby Eagle when they were still on the list and very affordable. Its a great gun.

Do you still have the case that the Jericho 941 comes in? A box of 9mm and a box 41AE from UZI.

Looks like you have upgraded the barrel with a 45ACP! Interesting.

Ender, I used a bidding service in Tokyo because most yahooauction.JP dont sell out of the country. Not easy to find or buy.

Abra. I got the gun/ IMI case and a pair of magazines in the market place here. It came in .45. IIRC they came in 9mm, 41AE and .45.

I was told that that there are different frames depending on the caliber or model year.

Looks pretty good. I would invest into getting my baby eagle refinished if I was you.

BTW: That is not an "airsoft" gun. That's a C02 powered BB gun. Big difference. Just heads up

Ing, airsoft, bbgun??? Im no expert on the differences. But the finish on the .45 is flawless. Just washed out by the flash.

Funny how the airsoft BB gun has a better looking finish than the real one. Lol.

Just to add some clarification. The gun on the left is not a real firearm. The gun on the right is. It is a Magnum Research/I.W.I Baby Eagle Eagle in .45ACP.
The first guns of this type were called Jericho 941's. They came in a large plastic case with the complete pistol in 9mm, a .41AE barrel, recoil spring, and magazine, plus a box of ammo (UZI) for each caliber and a cleaning kit for each. Then Magnum Research/I.M.I. introduced the "Baby" Desert Eagle. These were available in 9mm, .41AE, or .40S&W. (.45ACP would not be around for quite a few years yet.) No combo package was ever sold. However, at that time with the early models, you could easily change caliber between the three with the addition of the barrel, spring and magazine. Unfortunately, .40S&W took off and turned the .41AE into a bastard child. Ammo is expensive and hard to find. Even for reloaders, it's not easy. It's too bad, too. .41AE was fun to shoot.
Nice gun. Enjoy it.
Ryan
