Default WTB Remington 700 PSS .223

Im looking for a Remington 700 Police model. Two factors are very important. Has to be .223 and a short 20 inch barrel. Used rifles are ok, as long as there in great condition. Im in the San Fernando Valley.

The 20" model is the LTR. I have one in .223 and I love it. Good luck finding one, I'm pretty sure you'll love it too.

Default good luck

I have one in .223 and it is hard to shoot groups bigger than .5moa with that gun. 99% of the groups I shoot come in right at .3moa with an occasional ( if I do my part) .15moa. There are a few on gun broker and Your best bet is to all local stores to see if they have one on consignment.

Default i say

if you can get one grab it. It will be the most accurate rifle you will most likely ever own. Price seems a bit high but supply and demand.

Here's a few:

Not bad for a set up one, stock triggers are terrible:

Oh yeah, here's a pic of the gf shooting mine. I was hitting an 11" steel ram with every shot at 360 yards. It's a damn fine rifle and worth whatever you can get one for.

First, I have a PSS (not the LTR) in .308 and it is a super-badass rifle, both in the looks department as well as performance.

You made a great choice.

Next, I'd recommend that you buy the gun brand new unless you get a SMOKING deal on a lightly used one.

When you buy new, you know the gun hasn't been dicked with: the crown hasn't been dinged, it hasn't been improperly cleaned by some yahoo, the action hasn't been removed from the stock & improperly torqued, etc.

JMO....
