Default Need a case for my m&p 15-22

I just got an m&p 15-22 and am looking for a carrying case for taking to the range.

Would prefer something with some added pockets for magazines, ammunition, etc

Any recommendations?

Get a case that will accommodate accessories, which eventually you'll end up adding; such as scopes, lasers, lights, forward grips...etc... GO BIG!
My advise...

your options depend on your budget, I have a simple soft case from Bulldog

It has a zippered outer pocket for small items and 4 pockets for magazines

I think I paid $30.00 from Big 5 or you can go with a Pelican hardcase, it really comes down to preference, budget and space

A Pelican will not fit in my trunk when its loaded with ammo cams, range bag
and other related gear so I went with a soft case

I purchased a 42" double rifle case made by 5.11 Tactical. It holds both my .22 AR and its bigger brother .223 AR when I go to the range. Nice bag with plenty of storage. Not cheap though.

I've gotten the UTG Covert Homeland Security case and it works well. Pretty cheap too since you can get them for $29 or less. Get whatever case you want, but this does the job for me.

Not my pics, but here's how it looks like. The 32" case would be a snug fit for a 15-22, so I'd recommend the 34" case. The front pocket can hold 4 AR sized mags easily, along with scopes and additional parts. The bag comes with 6 molle straps for the main compartment (you can configure it any way you like), and there's a wide shoulder strap on the back of the bag.

I bought my bag from the airsoft store down the street. Its perfect for carrying it the range. Plenty of padding and nice pockets. Well made for the price of about 20 bucks.
