Default Best California FFL Transfers Dealers??

Hi everyone. I am new to the Calguns.net forum and was hoping to get some help. I am trying to make selling to the California residents as easy as possible so I would like to compile a list of good FFL transfer dealers who don't charge an arm and leg for a transfer. I would appreciate any feedback you have. Thanks in advance!

CA is a large place, so trying to list FFLs which cover the area in which a buyer happens to be in would be hard.

I don't charge much, especially since I give a discount to members of firearms rights organizations.

I charge $150 for a transfer and $50 for DROS. Complete firearms are $250 for the transfer and $60 for DROS. You won't find a better deal than that for me to allow you to step into my business.

I think he is making funny or perhaps he is trying to help out the rest of us, like when pretty girls only hang out with their ugly girlfriends.

Wes sells firearms. At a GREAT price. Why would he do all the work to sell somone else firearms so they can make a profit?

Hank Thompson
Chico, CA

He can quote his own prices but they are the cheapest I've found!

Tom Reese - Firepower Depot
25 dollars dros + 10 dollar transfer fee = 35 bucks total. No bull****.

Yes, I mean, buy a gun from out of state like Bud's, pay for the gun/shipping to Tom, he charges you 25 + 10. That is it. I haven't seen anyone who can beat that, yet. Nobody.

714-381-7851 or tomreese@firepowerdepot.com.

He is local to the Riverside area.

So if I understand you correctly, the transfer is free and you just pay DROS? Or do you mean $25 plus dros for $50 total for transfers?

I was incorrect, looking at the wrong paperwork. Guns I bought FROM his shop had DROS @ $25. The transfer paperwork for the SKS was DROS @ $25+$10 so $35. Ive only transfered the one gun and it was a couple years ago. Sorry for the wrong info!

Was that a real transfer or a PPT?

It's how I found my guy. Figure out how far you want to drive, and start calling.

Tom Reese is the real deal. 35 bucks total. I just had 2 weapons shipped to him from out of state. No problems what so ever. Really nice guy. If you looking for a good FFL that won't try to rip you off Tom is your man.

State law clearly states $25 + $10+$35 maximum allowed charge for a transfer. Any FFL charging more is not following the law and is clearly taking advantage of it's customers.

The mandated fee is for ppt only, a dealer transfer is different. No mandated fee
