Default 9x19 Barrel for CZ52 (threaded, BRAND NEW)

Hey guys,I bought a barrel from FAC about 2 yrs ago for my CZ52, to convert it to 9x19.

When I got the barrel, it was THREADED. Needless to say I've never even put it on the gun.

Now I don't really wanna keep it anymore as I think the CZ52 is a great gun like it is.

I paid $90.00+shipping for this barrel, and they are 100% hard to find now as FAC is out of business.

To be legeal here you could file or hacksaw the threads off.

Anyway, they are nearly impossible to find.

I need some 9x18 ammo, some 762x25 ammo, some .223 ammo, and various little things.

IF you have something for trade, lemme know.

Get a thread protector (cover for the thread) and silver solder it on.

Sure, then you can never take your gun apart without cutting/removing the thread protector. LOL

I was pretty peaved when it arrived.. BUT I decided it must be pretty rare to have one here since no one would ship them out here.

Anyway, its brand new. I like the original caliber just fine. I originally bought this barrel when I didn't have a 9x19 or anything "common" and I planned to use it for SHTF survival use.

how does the 9x19 reliably function in the gun? does it take a different magazine?

I told you, its brand new so I dunno how well it functions. Ive never tried it as putting it in a CZ52 w/the threads is verboten.

I hear from OTHER gun board enthusiasts that they work very well, and use the original 762x25 magazine.

Make me an offer... an M16A1 upper sounds pretty good... got any pics?

Personally, i know you never used it, but i'm sure you read up on it before buying, thats why i asked. I can take some shots of the m16a1 upper. its a vietnam colt upper, pretty much brand new condition, triangle handgaurds, no b/bc/ch.

I'd take $300 plus the barrel for the upper. if not, make me an offer. pms open

let me know

Oh snap...thats a lot of dough. I don't even WANT a 20" upper, I thought you were saying to trade it straight across.

I already have a 20" upper (in the middle of the pic below, its old w/A2 handguards on it), and I'm trying to get rid of it as it is. Now you're making me think it must be worth more $$$ hahaha

I was gonna sell it for like $100 or something, but if you want $300 for yours and its the same thing, I must be low balling myself.

ya, you are lowball on that upper. if it is a real colt veitnam upper, they go for about 400 bucks or so.

Then, why am I having such a hard time getting someone to trade me ANY OLL for it, straight across? LOL

OR alternatively, an XM177 upper for it, straight across.

Its complete except for the flash hider, bolt/carrier/handle.

Seriously, I don't want the thing, it looks to be very good shape. The barrel is marked "FN MIP" or something to that effect.

I could go get it and get the markings off it, if you're interested.

I really don't' want it

Let me know what you're looking to trade for- I have a mini lathe, I'd probably just turn off the threads, or use the chop bit and shorten it properly.

If I didn't like 7.62x25 so much now, and if Wolf didn't make HP in that caliber, and if I didn't REALLY want to try .223 Timbs in my CZ52, I'd be all over that...

And LOL, that's the barrel pic off the Makarov.com CZ52 area. I believe that's actually a 9mm Largo barrel pictured. :P

I would give ya $100 +n shipping on that upper if it's complete, unless you are going to try and get more, just let me know.

I don't need it, but would like it

That's what I figured. Now that I think of it, where else would you get that pic?
