Default Where can I find an FN P90 OR ACR in 22 cal?

Hi all,

Was hoping the FN 2000 would come out in a .22 (so cheap to shoot), but I saw a video on youtube highlighting a P90 chambered in .22

Curious if anyone knows how or where to get a CA legal version, and if there's any more info on the ACR 22 cal rifle, that was rumored a few months back....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-fApo8tgVg

Thx all,

Chib

Take a .22LR rifle and put it in an airsoft.
It's how people get the .22LR P90/G36/ACR/etc you see on youtube.

The .22LR "SCAR" is out (ISSC MK-22).
Reviews are average.
The folding stock seems to be very fragile/easily breakable due to the pot metal they use to make it.

Most .22 "black rifles" out in the market today are re-engineered from existing airsoft parts. If you're handy enough you can probably make your own one of a kind.

Check out http://customrifles.info/forum/ for some good build threads on stuffing a .22 into an airsoft body. I've got my AUG build up there.

Regarding the ISSC "Scar" - is that legal "as-is" since it has the folding stock? I have an MP15/22 "AR-style" that doesn't have a BB (bought in CA) but I'm guessing that's because it is a .22

If that ISSC MK22 "Scar" is legal as-is, I'm going to get one!

Please confirm!

It's CA legal, the OAL with the stock folded is greater than 26".

Just be aware that the folding stock mechanism is somewhat fragile. Reviews on other forums, indicate dropping it about 3' onto a table will break the folding stock mechanism due to the pot metal materials in the stock.

Also, it uses proprietary magazines and, currently, 10 round magazines are hard to find for it.

The p90 is pretty cool. I want to see how the quality of the 10/22 g36 archangel marauder kit will be.

Found this vid of the new mags. Looks pretty cool they even have a Cali lock plate.

CMMG is working on a 22 conversion for the PS90. I don't know when they'll be releasing it though...
