What magwell is that? It looks almost sharp on the front.

also, the grips on the little one on the bottom (can't read what it is), are they really greenish like that or is it my monitor? I like the way they look.

Alumagrip makes both the grips and magwell for the TLE-RL

WYRM makes the grips on the Kimber compact. They feel truly awesome!

Just picked this up Tuesday.

Had to sell my Kimber TLE/RL II in order to snag this one before it disappeared... but it was worth it. Now to find another single stack 1911 to replace the Kimber.

I had been wanting an STI Edge or similar for a few years now but it had sort of dropped off my radar. When someone posted one for sale (which sold pretty quick) it renewed my interest. Since STI's aren't CA-approved anymore I posted a question here asking about the CA-approved Bar-Sto widebody and that's when someone PM'd me with that Edge for sale.

I wasn't planning on purchasing one so soon and thus didn't have the money set aside for it... but because STIs are so few and far between I decided to sell my TLE RL II and my 92FS to pick it up. The 92FS I didn't really like, and I can easily replace the Kimber.

I just got my Para P14 back from the gun smith for some new Trijicons and tune up. I just sold my Combat Commander, too bad it was too small for me. I miss it very much. Love all the other 1911s that are on these pages. Keep up the good work.

Where did you get the grip screws shown in the top pic? I have a P13 and like it very much.

Default Mammoth ivory

Hello all, I thought I'd stop lurking & join this cool board. I don't have an AR or AK yet, but I will someday thanks to the research you guys have done here at Calguns. Well here's my Kimber stainless target II .45 w/ mammoth ivory grips so far. I'd like to checker the front strap and maybe do a magwell job also.

The grip screws are from Wilson Combat. I'm not sure if they have them for Para. I would want some too on my P14.

What you do? Saw off a piece of the table to make that grip? Either way, you got me jealous.

New toy... Limcat LR-1 Panther in .38 supercomp. Good match for the STI Edge .40 I picked up last month, now I have a Limited and an Open gun.

Now I just need to get the house repairs finished so I can actually start shooting matches. LOL!
