This one's mine.

Still needs some work done like melonite coated threaded barrel, blued bushing, and blued trigger, but here she is!

Here's my new Dan Wesson Commander Classic Bobtail (CBOB); just got it out of gun jail last week. Bought from a Calgunner here, which he was the original owner and bought it 2008, never fired it and sold it to me recently with all the original goodies plus the extra Shadow grips. Can't wait to take it out to the range. Love the way this feels compared to my Glock 23, which will be replaced with the CBOB for EDC on my CCW.

Just picked my Auto Ordnance 1911 up last Friday (First Pistol)! Took it to the range on Sunday-Shoots very nice, very accurate and feels great.

Here are some pics...

For kicks and grins, here's a detailed strip of my Dan Wesson CBOB. Since I bought it recently from a Calgunner, new and unfired, and the shell casing was dated March 2008, thought I'd better detailed strip, clean and lube before I break it in. I was impressed with all the various parts that showed signs of handfitting.

I'll toss mine in. Stock SA "Mil-Spec" 1911 with non-stock grips. Not a big fan of the SA logo on the wood grips and the black ones that came in the box look bad on the Stainless 1911. Bought these on E-Bay for a couple of buck and I think it makes the gun look even better.
