Here is my SA operator after some work at the custom shop. I went with the “A1 defense package”, and now she will reliably load every ammo I’ve tried, with every mag I own. Even the crappy GI mags load without an issue. I’ve put roughly 1000 rds through her since I get her back, and not one failure.


I had the front strap checkered at 25lpi.


SA mag well installed and blended.



I like green

The over sized Wilson combat mag release on the 1911 has been replaced with one from 10-8. It was just too damn big.

The collection is officially started. I've had the the Springfield for almost a year, picked the Colt up today, and the bastard child Star was too good of a deal to pass up, and is a great shooter. The 30-day rule is killing me right now, have a Remington and another Springfield in line, with 3 other pistols.
