Thanks, a buddy is wanting a safe and is looking at Costco but all they seem to have are the ones with the keypad and he wants a dial.

Brown safes is pricey but they offer a real safe--heavy, thick steel, etc. If you are looking for something more modest, commonly known as an RSC, or residential security container, www.bigsafes.com had a location in Vista (I don't know if it is still there). There is also a guy who sales decent safes at the Del Mar gun show. I think the company is called "Keep Safe."

I bought my safe at the San Marcos Turner's. Back when I lived in Oceanside, it seemed the closest place I could find what I wanted at.

There's also a safe place over kinda near the San Marcos Fry's too, think it's Libery Safes... not sure.
