Default Buying Rifle From Cheaper Than Dirt

Hi,

The title explains it all. Has anyone purchased from Cheaper Than Dirt and had it shipped to a Kalifornia FFL for transfer?

Was it a hassle? Any cheaper than buying local?

Thanks,
-T

Good luck, they won't even ship uppers to CA. They have disclamers all over their website. So, in my book, they are DIRT.

Anyone who buys anything from CTD is supporting a company that has choosen not to support Californian 2A rights. They constantly claim that ANY item designed for an AR15, AK, etc. is illegal in Ca. This inclused sling swivels, cleaning rods, etc. The problem is that they publish this information and many smaller vendors blindly believe them and follow in their footsteps. So, why would anyone want to support them at all? You can usually find the same items cheaper if you look for them. If you do decide to buy ANYTHING from CTD, you will be contributing to the anti California 2A cause. Thus, you will become part of your own problem.

Don't buy from CTD.
Try www.budsgunshop.com, onpointsupply.com, atlanticfitearms.com or any calguns vendor.

They were only against AB962 because, it was going to have a big impact on their sales. But, now that you bring up their ammo sales, please look at how many places in Ca they refuse to ship to because, they claim it is illegal to ship to them. Yet, many of these place don't restrict ammo from being shipped. Yea, to this day, they continue to spread more FUD about California than anyone else. They don't give a rat's azz about anything except shipping ammo to a few select places in California. I truely believe their bussiness practises to be more anti-2a than anything the Brady Bunch could do.

Their prices are so good, too so it's a shame. I was definitely considering them for an ACR with a middleman.

CTD is lame. The wont sell guns to CA at all. I found out by calling them and trying to order one. It doesnt say anything on their site about it unless you dig deep to find out. It should say right in the descriptions for the guns if you ask me.

My wife bought me a gift certificate to CTD a couple years back and I thought "Yea! Time to get some stuff for my AR." Wrong! Wouldnt ship it to CA. I had to get a backpack instead.

I wont order from them anymore.
