Default Oklahoma takes the lead on this one

95 Okies say FU to Bloomy!

Unanimous in Oklahoma: Defy Mayor Bloomberg!

April 4, 2011

(GunReports.com) -- On Thursday, March 31, the Oklahoma House of Representatives voted 95 to 0 to prevent deceptive, illegal gun “stings”, such as those regularly conducted in other states by cronies of anti-gun billionaire New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the NRA-ILA reports.
Senate Bill 856, the “Fraudulent Firearms Purchase Prevention Act”, passed unanimously in the House of Representatives and the Senate. The NRA is pleased that both houses of the Oklahoma Legislature voted unanimously in support of SB 856!

SB 856 would protect lawful firearm retailers from illegal gun sting operations such as those by Bloomberg who has sent hired agents into other states to attempt illegal firearm purchases in an effort to blame federally licensed firearm retailers for gun crime in New York City and around the country.

SB 856 was authored by state Senator Steve Russell (R-45) and sponsored in the House by state Representative Paul Wesselhoft (R-54).

This is good precident. The concept of trying to decieve a retailer and "catch" them commiting a crime is offensive.

It would have been nice if those same 95 would have stood up for open carry and campus carry.

Yep.

It would be nice if states could arrest traitorous bastards like Bloomberg and their accomplices the moment they even step foot on their soil.

What are the penalties for a violation of this act?

Have the statute set no possibility of bail or OR, and anyone who assists in the prison break with lethal force gets the death penalty.
