Default Looking for FFL near East Bay/Walnut Creek

Whats Up Dudes!

I just recently ordered a CA legal AR-15 from Spikes Tactical. Unfortunately all the places near my house are charging 75 processing fee plus 25 DROS, and finally Sales Tax! I'm looking at almost 200 dollars after the fact.

The AR is on backorder and I won't see it ship for probably 4-8 weeks from now. I'm hoping someone out there is nice enough to gimme a break and give me a lower price for the transfer. If your interested please shoot me a email and if I get any responses I'll call Spikes Tactical to see if I can change the FFL info. Thanks and be safe!

They are a bit further south, but UG Imports doesnt charge out the nose and other than doing everything through appointments, I have no complaints about them.

City-Arms (now in Pleasant Hill) has typically charged me $75 OTD. Suggest calling as opposed to trusting the internet.

I'd go with City Arms.
Be advised, FFLs are obligated to collect tax on firearms purchased from an out of state FFL.

I had my firearm shipped to Kevin Smith from out of state, he charged me $75. He gave me the option to pay him the state tax or pay it later yourself. I decided later.

Thanks guys!

I emailed UGI Imports and Kevin Smith, I hope they can help me out. I haven't bought a long-gun since 1998 when I used to live in Missouri. Just wanted to say that the inflation and laws here are like highway robbery! But I just couldn't resist getting back into it when I heard about the Bullet Button.

Kevin Smith is a good guy.

If you're closer to the South Bay, I can also recommend Roger's Relics (Santa Clara). I haven't done business with them for a while, but it $65 OTD for a long gun and they never charged me sales tax. You might want to call them to see what their fees and policies are now.
