Default ruger 10/22 pre 2000 mag?

So I bought my 10/22 in new mex in 1992. Brought it here with my evil mags. My question is that as far as I know I am good to go shoot with my mags. From what i have read I didnt have to register my long guns when i moved here.I think I am ok using my mags. Thanks.

If you moved to California with your evil mags before January 1, 2000 then you are good to go. If you moved to California on or after January 1, 2000 and brought your evil mags with you, then you imported high capacity magazines and the act of bringing them here was illegal. However, possession and use of said high capacity mags in itself is not illegal as long as the gun they are used in is in legal configuration. Pretty stupid law, eh?
