If your using an Aimpoint clone or a Red dot w/ a standard mount it should co-witness (dot on top of front sight post)with out a problem, that way if your battery dies you can still use your iron sights.

Kool! Ya, I read at some
Other forum. U have to drive out the pins.. I thought u only had to loosen it with Allen wrench, but I guess it's a little more work.
I'm also thinkin of gettin that flip up sight.

I got the 20/10 from R Rages, they feel a bit looser fit than the 10 for some odd reason... you can easily jiggle the magazine in the sleeve...I got 2 and they're both the same!
There was a slight glue residue visible at the bottom part, not too much though!!
Hope yours fit better!

BTW, both the Colt M4 and the H&K are made by Walther for UmarexUSA. And so the mags are exchangeable...

i just received the 20/10 mags as well. it doesn't jiggle like you mentioned, but it does have a smaller square where it clips on to which makes it so much easier to swap magazines. but does juggle on the gun. this magazine is from the factory. i wonder why umarex made it differenly.

one of the mag had the glue residue, which wiped off easily. other didn't

over all i love it

Glad you got them, they sure make the rifle look like one bad @$$ sinister weapon IMHO...

Both the H&K and the Colt M4 are made by Whalter in Germany...the mags are interchangeable as I mentioned before... I will TRY to post a video on the 10/20 mag that I got from RRages shortly at an independent thread...

Thanks for the feedback...

Mine was a real lemon.
Fail to feed, fail to eject, double feed, etc.
Tried different ammo, ajusting bolt speed, contacting tech rep....NADA
Going back to UMAREX to be fixed, I hope.

goto the official site (coltm4rimfire.com i think) watch the videos. one of them shows you how to adjust the main spring to accommodate higher velocity 1200+ rounds. The stock setting (screw flush) cycles sub sonic ammo. Its a cool feature, and I think ima try backing out the screw and see if it will cycle CCI CBs (super low pressure, as much sound as an airgun)

Oh my. Magpuls foregrip looks bettter than I thought. That thing looks badass. Also note, mil-spec m-7 bayonets fit perfectly on the lug and snug on the stock birdcage. Ontario Knives makes a mil spec one, fits so nice you can slash as well as thrust with it.

edit- oh replaced front post/lug. not an issue, mine never FTF/FTE either

Thanks JackandBlood. I was so close to picking up the M16 'style' for $350 @ Big 5. They're so much cheaper now.

these mags really makes the difference as far as looks. as far as releasing the mag, it gravity drops with no problem. and as for the fitment.. it does have a little jiggle/wobble... but not so much, doesnt bother me. id like to get another one, but man thats another 36$!! LOL

How did it fail to eject if you have not shot the rifle?!
I recommend that you shoot the rifle first, compensate for high velocity rounds by turning the spring tension bolt clock wise several times.
I also recommend that you use quality rounds, I personally use cci and had just a couple of misfires with my M4 after shooting hundreds of rounds!
They come with a tight fit, break in the rifle first by shooting it.
I remember when I first got my M4 the magazine would not even go in right!!! It was my fault, since I was placing it in at an angle and forcing it.... operator error on my behalf...

... Good luck...

Cheapest quality back up sights I know off is Magpul. Look into Primary Arms red dot sights. Best 'replica' sights IMO.

I shoot a Umarex/Colt fullsize AR-15. Ammunition, try a box of federal "AutoMatch" shot several boxes with no difficulty.
Added a few things to it sling, bipod and AR style scopefrom IJK at DelMar. Scope has a 3 color 3 intensity 2-6x I think it was a ral bargain.

I got an M4 OPS too. Love mine. Works great with the cheapo lead only federal from Wally World. Shot a few thousad rounds from it already. Only had one problem but it was my fault. I didn't lube the bolt enough after a routine cleaning sesion and the next time I took it out (about a 150 rounds into my session) it failed to feed all of the way but it still struck the rim and the shell exploded out the side through the breach. Scared me because I felt something hit my head but after a quick field strip and inspection I cleaned it sprayed it with oil and it worked fine. So if you buy the lead only federal just clean it and lube it really good after each session.

It's a great plinker that I don't have to worry about shelling out a bunch of money on ammo for.

P.S. I got a UTG mil dot scope for it with an ebay cantilever mount and I love its accuracy. It has red or green illumination and if I want to save batteries I can use it with the illumination turned off. Costs under $60. With the cantilever mount the front iron sight is not seen through the scope.
