I don't know which kind of action is wanted. But this is some of the most important action that goes on during breaks... keeping plants alive.

I dunno about slow shutter trickery, me thinks there is some major lens distortion. slow shutter would result in blur, not u shaped slides. Kinda a mystery cause nothing else in the picture has such extreme distortion

Great practice. If you don't do it, if feels pretty odd for while. Off hand, single handed, etc. Never know when you may be restricted to using whatever is available to get a life/death shot off.

Thats probably the worst possible way to shoot off of shooting sticks if your shooting for accuracy.

I feel like this thread should be in the general firearms discussion section.

Never had a problem, never had anything close to problem.

None of my guns have scopes (the black Savage above wasn't mine) or aim dots or whatever you want to call them. Iron sights for me only. 90% of all the shooting I have ever done in my entire life has been done while standing up.

My brother and my best shooting buddy are the same way - we are iron sight purists.

I think he may be referring to leaning the barrel on the sticks instead of the stock.

Pic thread

I seem to remember you went criticizing people in the action pics in the rifle gallery. Why not post some of your action pics so we can criticize your pictures too?

Note: I'm a civilian and had borrowed a helmet from one of the officers; but, the helmet was way too big and slid down over my eyes during shooting. The 2LT noticed what was happening and had picked up my helmet to try and help me out. (Even so, I still qualified M16A2 on my first try!)

It's just a prop...but I wish it was real! Also, note the Bad Kitty patch from my avatar is on my shoulder. LOL

I got my start shooting a different kind of projectile.

Haha I have posted pics of my self shooting. Not any for quite some time but I was criticized for no hearing protection. It was advice more than anything, get your panties untangled.
