Smile Help on a 22 dedicated barrel

Anyone sales just a barrel for a 22 dedicated upper with a 1-16 twist? I hope that I don't have to buy a complete 22 upper and then strip it. Ok here's the project:

A light wight .22 plinker using a CHEAP Vulcan Carbon lower and upper, I have a complete lower done and the striped Vulcan carbon upper. The next costly part would be a .22 1:16 barrel but I can't find one, any ideas? will also consider a 17. Thanks Peter

You can ream an old AR barrel and use a .22 liner.

I did this a few years ago, unfortunately it's one of my projects that got lost in the back of the safe.
I did a little testing of it and things seemed to be working okay then.

Rented my reamer from an outfit in Georgia (forget their name right now), and got the Acraglas and liner from Brownell's.

Used my Milwaukee drill and a homemade viseblock with plenty of cutting oil to ream out an old M16 barrel.

Not too hard to do.
Booknut...I've taken all my 5+ capacity smileys and buried them in a cache out in my backy....oops...I think I said too much!
