Default Gun concealed on your dog

I know this is a strange, but someone sent this to me. Wouldn't strapping a gun on a dog, then putting a doggie coat over him considered Carrying Concealed? If the dog was wearing saddlebags and you had a pistol in it, LUCC, it would be legal, right?

Default MY guess

I would say it would be illegal because you are in control of the dog.I think it would be same as if it was in your car.in control of vehicle/dog in your possession.

I thought "Yeah, sure." But I was expecting a BIG DOG. What the heck is that dog carrying? And what kind of holster is that? Custom?

I think the holster is strapped on wrong. If he's on your lap, wouldn't you want the muzzle (dog and gun) pointed in the other direction?

I think in that case, strap it to a cat. A cat is NEVER under your control.

I live in LA County. I'd have a better chance of my DOG getting a CCW than I do!!

A Rhodesian Ridgeback. What would be a good concealed carry weapon? In case you aren't familiar with them, they use them in Africa to HUNT LIONS!!!!!!!!!

How about a St Bernard - With a fake booze barrel.

Just yank open the end - And your Glock 36 is GTG....

"No officer. I just found this dog. Here - Take him away."

I think I just found out a new way to retaliate against unconstitutional e-checks!

UOC with a dog holester, but put it on a Rott!!!

Officer: Let me check your weapon!

Trollface: Be my guest!

I've never given this much thought, and in 32 years of LE, someone has finally come up with something I haven't seen before. Had to laugh. But I think in the wrong circumstances the car analogy might be applied. I wonder......

for some reason that dog pic reminds me of the urban legend of the guy chucking an accidentally lit bundle of dynamite only to have his faithful lab run out there and retrieve it...

If this actually were legal, then this is quite genius.

"Not allowed to LOC in Communist California? Strap a loaded gun onto your dog!"

"If a bad guy tries to take your dog's gun, he'll bite his hand!"

As long as the dog completes the CCW class, and adds the paw print

This was not the breed I thought of when the term gun dog was used. Until now.

DA: You honor, Mr. kowalski was detained on Jan 3, 2011 for carrying a concealed and loaded firearm

Judge: Can the prosecution step up to the bench please: Judge whispers "it is a fricken dog!! are you kidding me!!"

DA: yes your honor I know it is a dog, but this has never been tried before and I thought if I could make this conviction stick I would make a name for myself"

Judge: since the defendant is unable to testify on his own behalf.. unless anyone can speak dog.. anyone? anyone?

Thats what I thought.. case dismissed..

I believe we got something here ... Moving slightly away from the "Pistol Packing Pooch." We could, mostly likely, have your dog LUCC. You think our legal "beagles" could figure this out?

My buddy's Mom got her dog certified as a Service Animal. Now she can take that dog anywhere, not like those stupid people who insist on sticking their toy pooch in their bag and treat it like a baby. She has a legit Service Dog.

http://www.ehow.com/how_5832249_pet-...ce-animal.html
http://www.naservicedogs.org/
http://www.usarplus.com/homepage.asp

Quote:
"Service animal means any dog or other common domestic animal individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including, but not limited to, guiding individuals who are blind or have low vision, alerting individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to the presence of people or sounds, providing minimal protection or rescue work, pulling a wheelchair, fetching items, assisting an individual during a seizure, retrieving medicine or the telephone, providing physical support and assistance with balance and stability to individuals with mobility disabilities, and assisting individuals, including those with cognitive disabilities, with navigation. The term service animal includes individually trained animals that do work or perform tasks for the benefit of individuals with disabilities, including psychiatric, cognitive, and mental disabilities. ... <snip> ... Animals whose sole function is to provide emotional support, comfort, therapy, companionship, therapeutic benefits, or to promote emotional well-being are not service animals."

What if he then poops it out in a GFSZ?
