Default .45 Bushmaster

Anyone else notice that Bushmaster is offering a new rifle and cartridge this fall? The .45 Bushmaster upper will give us yet another interesting big bore AR-15 option. What's really interesting about .45 Bushmaster though is that the only difference between a 9 round .45 Bushmaster magazine and a 30 round .223 magazine is the follower...

The new .45 Bushmaster cartridge is being co-developed by Hornady. This should make it an interesting choice as a hog gun.

As long as I can load that round with the same .452 dia bullets I'm happy.I wonder if bushmaster will sell the whole mag with the follower. if its 9 rounds then we should be able to order them with that follower.

I'm sure they'll be selling the dies as soon as they release the new round and rifle. It wouldn't make any sense for them not to support reloaders who are a large number of the folks who buy these odd calibers.
