Default H110 doesnt meter in my Redding 3BR

Somehow i talked myself into spending the extra $ for the redding 3BR powder measure and so far it has worked great until the other day when i tried putting H110 through it for 300BLK loads. The H110 totally jams the rotor up almost instantly. i havent tried trueblue powder in it yet but now im guessing that it will probably do the same thing with it too. so does anyone have any recommendations for a powder measure that works good with these finer powders?

296/110 meters very well in my Dillon powder throwers, but I'm not sure if you're running a progressive or single stage.

It meters super well in RCBS/Dillon/Hornady measure. I find it hard to understand why it will not for you. Not saying you are not telling the truth but H-110, Win296/231/748/760, BL-C2 and any of the ball powders are easiest to run thru any measure I have ever used.
The stick powders are more trouble usually.

the H110 runs fine through my dillon 550. but i load all of my bottleneck cases in a single stage and use the redding measure. the H110 will almost lock that sucker up at about 3/4 of a full throw, to the point where i have to use force to move the handle back the other way. funny thing is that i dont have any problem with imr4895 stick powder besides the occasional crunch where it cuts the powder.. i have no problem with 748, leverevolution, h335 or 4007ssc

The Redding is a rotary style, like the RCBS standalone powder I have, and the Dillon is a slide style. I am guessing that is about the only difference. I haven't tried to run fine ball through my RCBS, since I do all my loading on the Dillons now.

its been a few weeks since sending my 3BR back to redding because of the jamming problem. i hadnt heard anything so i emailed them. they said they had to replace the frame and refinish the drum. but the guy couldnt tell me why, but that it should ship out by the end of the week. Yesterday i got an email saying that after replacing the frame etc it still had problems so they were sending me out a brand new one. It should show up next week sometime and hopefully it works with H110 and true blue powders without jamming up

Just got done using 296 in mine worked good but, I did have some problems with spillage when I filled it over to pore out the powder. The plastic cylinder doesn't fit snug like my Uniflow. Something to look at next time.

I started turning the measure upside down to pour excess back to bottle. No good. Best way is to open metering chamber all the way and charge directly back to bottle. No mess, no fuss.

Take your new measure apart and clean it with soap and water. Let it dry and put it back together. Wipe the inside down with a dryer sheet and you will be good to go.
