I want a No.2Mk.IV.

All the fun of an enfield, in a cheap to shoot .22 package.

You, Sir, have some beautiful collection, judging from this and other posts of yours. How long did it take you to acquire it?

Seriously collecting C&R for the past 15 years. But just like others, started going to the range and hunting before that.

15 years, that makes me feel better. I'm mesmerized with C&Rs (yeah, make fun of me all you want, but I'm attracted, to the point of addiction, to old battle rifles and handguns, especially rifles), but I've only been collecting them for 2 years or so, and I haven't even seen some of the rifles you posted for sale in those two years.

Sometimes when people ask me how I got those, I really don't know what to say 'cause during those times they were all over. Besides for that period of time of my accumulations I never taught I'll wind up with what I have.

But to be honest I started slowing down, almost to full stop for the last 5 years since I think I've had enough and got other priorities in life.

If it makes you feel better 2 years of collecting is nothing, unless of course you have no problem financially. For sure it's fun and enjoyable and as if there's always something you look forward to, I know I've been there.
