Arrow New 1911 Larry Davidson G10 Grips

My EMP has new shoes They're a combo of his Punisher and Grenade grips.

I wanted some new grips for my EMP and since I've been happy with my other 1911 grips from Larry Davidson, I decided to give him a call. He took my call while working on a big order from Springfield. You can hear the machinery while taking to him I told him I wanted something new so he sent me some samples by email. I told him I wanted a combo of the below:

Grenade Grips:

Punisher Grips:

Yes he does. Give him a call, let him know what you want, and he will give you a quote. Larry is definitely a super nice down-to-earth kinda guy.

About a week. Price was $65, everything (e.g., shipping) included.

+1

About 7-10 days from order confirmation. If you want something "custom", the price goes up of course (mine was $82 shipped). If you want the previous templates that Larry has already, the above quoted price is probably true.

SO speaking of 1911 grips, what are the dimensions of the 1911 grip panel? I can't find the dimensions anywhere.

Larry's grips really nice. I picked up a set of G10 Horned Lizards, but didn't realize I wouldn't like the material (I don't like that hard ceramic-like material), and went back to my soft rubber Hogue grips. But they do look great & picture-worthy when on my Kimber

I shot a couple of magazines and it is very accurate. A fellow shooter saw it and asked if he could try it. Of course I said yes. He aimed at a 14"x14" steel plate 70-75 yards away....PING! 3" barrel baby!

However when I got it, something was snagging between the slide and the receiver so I had to sent it back to Springfield. This didn't affect shooting but was annoying me. Springfield polished and tuned some stuff and now it's super smooth. Excellent CS from Springfield as usual. I haven't had time to shoot it since coming from the factory. So basically my break in is not done yet.

Those are pretty dang cool and I usually don't like punisher gear on my guns. I may consider a set of something custom some day.

Do you have any plans to update your website.? Including photos of the custom stuff on this thread..?...You might consider posting more photos of your custom work. I see several options you did but are not on your website.

Thanks.
Bob

Does this mean you're a fan of the Punisher comic book?

Oh, Zman what is the grip strip on your front strap?? It looks more rubberized like hogue or something rather than just skateboard grip tape. Just wondering what specific brand it is.

...more of the actual logo than anything else and the movies aren't too bad either.

It is rubberized and the product is excellent. They are made by Traction Grips @ traction grips.com They make them for various firearms and they also sell the material for "cut your own".

Nice grips.

I would like the same grenade grip, but in OD with the Punisher skull in Black for my MC Operator.
