Does anybody have, or know of anybody, that has an AR in the 502 Thunder Sabre round offered by the folks in Oregon (sorry, forgot their name)?
I am curious if it is just another version of the .50 Beowulf. |

Huh, competition for the Beowulf, huh? Looks to be a completely different round. "The .502 TS is simply a 50AE case with a 7.62x39 size case head." http://www.assaultweb.net/cgi-bin/ul...4;t=001181;p=0

Gah. I think I'd rather buy one of the 50AE uppers - at least it fires ammo used in another gun, even if it would need a different bolt carrier.
Although, if I remember right, they don't make the 50AE uppers anymore... :/

After reading that, I wonder about the 500 S&W. |
