Default Holster for a Glock 22 with light

I have a glock 22 with a TLR-2 light. I've tried several holsters over the last few years and haven't found the "perfect" one yet. Here are the ones I tried already:

- A $120 Safariland 6280 Level II Retention - I don't like it much, it is too slow to draw, quite big and bulky. OK for Duty but not for any tactical or competition scenarios.

- A Blackhawk CQC Serpa Holster - Cheap, much faster but doesn't support the light, nice for concealed needs

- A Fobus Evolution Paddle Holster - Cheap, no support for light, fast

I am looking for a holster with minimal retention, for tactical use and competition, hip mounted or with a system that supports belt or hip accessories. It has to support the G22 with a mounted light. preferred material is carbon fiber or kydex.

Any suggestions?

I too am looking for a solution on this matter.

My standard handgun is a Glock22C with a Streamlight TLR-1 tac-light.

I would try to search online for which holsters are ideal for weapon light mounted handguns. But buying holsters online without trying them out in person is like buying clothes that you don't know will fit you or not...

Check out Safariland model 5187-8321. I use this model with my G22 with X300. Kydex molded, open top, retention set with 2 tension screws, works with a large variety of lights.

Also highly recommended by many others is the Raven Concealment.
Some people will do skanky things for $25, and not all those people are crack whores.

Default options, options

thanks for pointing me to the thread from last month, not sure why it didn't come up in my search.

So looks like the top options for hip mount are:

- Raven Glock Phantom Light Compatible Holsters
- Blade-Tech Tactical Light Holster w/Tek-Lok

cheaper option - Safariland 5187-8321-411

Any Suggestions on Thigh mount? So far, the only thigh mount I find are backhawks, which had some negative comments on the serpa system, and also do not support my TLR-2 so I will need to replace the light as well.

A friend suggested to check:

and Side armor

Any comments on those?

try the kaluban cloak
Pretty close to the raven concealment. Some say better. Pretty cheap and nowhere near thew wait time.
The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.
