Donated twice already very nice!! My goal is to have a bunch of individual sponsors, not the same people carrying all the weight. Have you seen the LA page? There are 30 names on the thing!!

I agree... I'm sure there are others out there that could afford to kick in a few times... I'm just trying to help reach OUR goal...

Is there a brochure that I can take around to FFLs highlighting why they should donate to this cause and how it will benefit them? I don't have the funds to sponsor personally but I can donate footwork.

I'm not currently in the firearms accessories biz - but I threw down for a vendor spot. I will revive some of my firearm stuff. OTOH, if you have a KLR650, I'm the guy to see....

Given the incredibly high population of LA county, I'd say that some of the smaller counties are putting LA county to shame by a large margin.

I haven't done the math, but a glance at the number of donations by county convinces me that LA needs to get off its *** and do its part.

Apologies in advance if I'm wrong.

LA County has by far the most out of every county.....BUT...LA is one of the Largest, and they are still well under....A bunch of Counties are seriously lacking support. Its also important to understand that tis the Holiday Season. I would like to see these Vendor Sponsors Stepping up.....Especially if they receive a large amount of their sales from CGN members. But yes, some Counties have gone above and beyond.

If eaglemike makes gun parts, I'm buying them. He's a great engineer and a KLR hero. And now a Calguns sponsor!

I keep wondering when the rest of OC CCW instructors will step up. I know that at On-Target we have two of them covered as putting their money where it matters - where are the rest??

I have heard a lot of noise about/from the others, but it has been all hot air up to this point. I am in for another $100 for Orange County.

PM on the way for the additional amount

Go to edit Sig in Quick links, click on the clip art option and out it this:

http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/ima...F_gotSIGsm.jpg

that is the long one that says Got CCW, copy the entire link address, you may need to click on it and copy it directly from the image page.

then click on the clip art button again, and put in this:

http://www.calgunsfoundation.org/ima...es/Alameda.jpg

Save it. Come back to this thread...and show it off

Default Question About Donations

Does the money go into one big pot, or is it reserved for use in only the county indicated? For instance, if a county down south (or vice-versa) requires extra legal work and requires extra funds, will money be taken from other counties?

The way I see it, the sooner the tougher ones fall, the better for all of us. The tougher counties, usually the more metropolitain ones, are trend setters so it helps us all when one is brought into line.

As I understand it, they are going for the "low hanging fruit". The "easier" counties that fall will reduce the ranks of "support group" and make the "tougher" counties easier to take down. That is apparently the strategy. Time will tell if it's going to work.

Hopefully when LA, Orange, etc. residents see things start to happen, donations in the name of the "tougher" counties will pick up. No matter how it is done, any donations will eventually help us all. In my opinion .

I am still waiting for the rest of OC CCW supporters to step up and put their money and time out here where we can all see it. For far toooo long there has been this collection of CCW holders and Instructors lurking here and spouting off on another site about what a "great" job they are doing and how they are leading the way.

No More!!

CALGUNS is doing it. I firmly believe that at this time CalGuns owns the CCW effort for the State and everyone should look to them for the experience and proper guidance from this time forward. Anyone else claiming to be in support of CCW rights and NOT supporting this effort loudly and CLEARLY, are in my opinion, full of hot air.

I may get a message from the Head Janitor on this, but I am tired of being the ONLY Vendor for OC. There are other Businesses, Gun Stores and Ranges, that need to be informed of their serious lack of support for this effort. I would hope that all those CalGun members in OC will stop by their locations, or send them emails, to let them know we, the business owners, have an obligation to you, our customers, to make sure ALL of your rights are protected and that you can exercise them to the fullest.

Hopefully shooters in OC see this post and realize you are the only range truly standing up for CCW rights here in Orange County through the Sponsorship program. Your post above just confirms why I am a dedicated patron of your range and no other in OC.

See you Thursday!

If you guys have yet to add the GOT CCW sig to your sig line, jump on it ASAP!! Every post you make, is a reminder that we are at war, and need others support!!

Sacramento was deemed one of the most difficult, however, CGF was able to smack them down, so I would not say the Larger Counties are on the back burner by any means. They do come with a little more time and patience though. You could imagine how long it would take to make copies of everything requested, if the County had thousands of applicants to redact.

But it should only give copies of granted apps, not rejected, right?

If a county has only 49 granted CCWs, it shouldn't take too long to finish redacting the paperwork...

You're thinking too logically.

We are up against what is tantamount to the whole of the law enforcement community vis-a-vis the Sheriffs and Chiefs. They DO NOT want us to succeed and are working very hard to block our access to public records and information.

They've circled the wagons, and we're readying the artillery while sending in scout squads in specific counties and manners of approach.

It's not about 49 CCWs. It's about real liberty for us, and their investment in total retention of absolute, unchecked, and unconstitutional discretion and power over their subject residents.
