I like it a lot… it really helps the flow as I am only manually feeding brass now.

I am not using the actual electronic bullet feeder, but I am stacking bullets in a tube as seen in the cheap bullet feeding mod.

The die itself is pretty reliable, out of 250+ rounds it hasn’t failed to drop a bullet, but sometimes the bullets feeding into the die get caught up. I need to get myself a different size feeding tube to iron out the problem.

Another 35 rounds of Garand Food for Silhoutte shooting.

.30-06 with 165 grain HPBT and 44 grain of IMR3031, Commercial cases and CCI #34 primers.

That uses up all my commercial cases.

Melted another 150 lbs of lead sheets into 1lb ingots. That makes about 300 lbs that I've melted, so far. I've got about another 50 to go.

Loaded 45 rounds of .30-06 in Greek HXP cases with 147 grain FMJBT and 48 grains of 3031.

Loaded 96 rounds of M2 AP .30-06, 192 rounds of M2 Ball, 160 rounds of 150 grain SP-FB .30-06 and 80 rounds of 165 grain HPBT .30-06 into enbloc clips and loaded them up into ammo cans.

My Garand will not go hungry for a while now.

I'm going to run another 500 9MM frangible loads on the Loadmaster in the morning then change it over to 6.8 SPC so I can start on 500 rounds of 6.8 SPC with Hornady 110 grain HPBT and 28 grains of AA-2200 in Remington cases with CCI #34 primers. That'll use up all my empty cases and deplete my stash of both bullets and powder.

200 rounds of .357 magnum. I tried a different bullet this time. I usually go with the Semi-jacketed Sierra, but I tried 100 of the Full jacket Hollow point Hornady XTP.

590 rounds of 124g 9mm (my 5,000 rounds came in Friday from X-treme Bullets):

And 50 rounds of .45ACP 230gr. also from X-Treme. Testing out AA#7 for the first time in .45 so only 50 to see how they perform over Unique.

You sure you didn’t just dump those empty boxes of PMC in the background into that container? You know you don’t have to lie to impress us

ONLY Joking

Looks great, I just got some 124s from Xtreme as well, will be knocking out a batch sooner or later.

What’s your load for the 9mm 124s? I’m thinking of using W231, CCI 500, forgot my COAL, think it might be 1.135” and will do doing a ladder from 4.0 to 4.4gr

I would be intrested in your findings with AA#7 in 45acp. I have used pounds of #2 and #5 in 45 but never #7.

Loaded 20 more 32 Long Colt 90 gr heel based, outside lubed cast bullet, over 6 gr. IMR 4227, Fed SP.; velocity is 980 fps.
Long obsolete; so the 1960s era factory length cases were trimmed from .912" down to .820" enabling them to cycle in the 1892 Marlin lever action's cartridge carrier.
A heeled bullet (.299" base) since the chamber is smaller diameter than the bore (.310").
The C-H die set gives just a very light crimp. I then dip the seated bullets into liquid alox lube.
The old factory hollow base, inside lubed bullet suffers from bad accuracy due to the small diameter bullet failing to fully fill the bore.

Late with the report....over the weekend, I put up:
100 - 44 Mag 240 gr lswc
200 - 9mm 115 gr rn
200 - 45 ACP 230 gr rn

Not much, but on a single stage, that takes awhile, plus I had to set up the dies for the 44 and 9mm.

Going to reload more this week...

Lead 001.JPG

Melted and poured the last 105 lbs of sheet lead into ingots. I've got a total of about 250 lbs.

I ordered 20 lbs of Roto Metals "Super Hard" alloy (30% Antimony, 70% Lead) so I'll start playing around with the mix and see what kind of hardness I get.

That should get me 120 lbs of alloy at 5% Antimony or 3652 230 grain LRN bullets for the 1911's or 6774 9MM 124gr bullets.

My Lee 6 cavity molds for .45ACP and 9MM should be here in a day or two so I should be making bullets by the weekend.

sshhhh...

I have to check but it was straight out of the Speer#11 Reloading Manual. I want to say 5.5 gr. Unique with WSP; COAL might be roughly the same but I took 10 rounds randomly and loaded my M&P and able to rack all 10 rounds out of the firearm.

I'll let you know. My test subjects will be my Springfield 1911 Loaded and my nephews Kimber 1911.

If it works out, I'll be ordering quite a bit of powder whenever this stuff becomes available. I'm going to also be testing HS-6, Universal/Clays, and if ever, AA#5. This stuff is all hard to come by right now.

I just got a Lee .457, 405 grain bullet mould today and sizer dies. So I casted up some bullets and sized/lubed them. While I was waiting I set up my press and got started on the 45-70 brass.

Now I have another 54 rounds of 45-70 loaded with 29 grains of IMR 4198. These are low power Trapdoor loads. First time loading 45-70 and it went very well.

Now I need more brass.

I didn't load anything, but I did get my 9mm dies from Dillon which means I can crank them out on my 550b instead of the Square Deal from now on.

Finishing up about 900 rounds of 9MM with 90 grain CTF Frangibles and 5.0 grain of Bullseye.

Once I'm done with that, I'll change over the Load Master to do 500 rounds of 6.8 SPC 110 grain Hornady HPBT and 28 grains of AA-2200.

Once that's done, it's on to the 5.56mm 62gr SS109 loads. I've got about 1000 of those ready to load up.

600 rounds of 9mm target ammo (125 grain lead swc over 4.1gr of Red Dot), and now my g/f is working on a few hundred more for her to use at the Zombie shoot.

Will be making up some .44 cowboy loads to punch holes in the old water heater, and then a few hot ones to see if I can hit anything with the revolver at 100 yards.

Didn't load them all today, but finished them today, 250 rounds of .223.
  • Lake City brass
  • Wolf SR magnum primers
  • 22.7 grains TAC (a light load, but these rounds are only used in my club's 100-yard matches and this charge is VERY accurate in my rifle)
  • 69 grain Noslers
  • seated 2.26 inches

Got a little to ambitious today. Despite the pic...

Loaded 58 rounds of 30 Carbine & 57 rounds of 30-30.
Also primed a bunch of 308 & 30-06.
