Another 50 rounds of 115gr 9mm replenishing what I shot this morning at the range.

I really need a progressive press, loading pistol rounds on a single stage is getting annoying.

loaded 20 rounds of 223 5 each of of 23, 23.5, 24,and 24.5 in load development. I really need a decent powder measure for H335 but it has to be cheap as I'm broke.

Beautiful!

I remember my first ever load- a 9mm. But then one day I did something to set her off and she flew away all hot, in a huff and a puff, through Target, and I never saw her again....

100 rounds of .44 mag, 240gr Hornady HP SWC bullets over 7.0g of Trail boss. Brass was mixed headstamp, I'm not 100% sure of the crimp consistency. Should be interesting to test.

A couple days ago I sized just over 50 pieces of 460 Mag brass. Then next night I went to load up some hot, medium, and mild loads to top off my ammo boxes, but I figured I should measure the length of the cases since they have been fired 2-10 times. I found that most of them were longer than max length. I had some issues getting consistent crimps last time.

Last night I trimmed all of them. It went pretty quick and easy on the lyman electric trimmer. That was the first time I ever had to trim a straight wall case. I might load them up tonight, if I don't get too lazy. I am still on my first batch (100 qty) of new starline brass that I bought when I ordered the gun. I hope to get at least another 100 cases of once fired or new starline for Christmas. I love shooting my big revolver. It takes more time to load 460 ammo than it does 9mm, but the big stuff is more fun to reload too.

Here is where it all happens..........well at least the clean stuff. The boolit casting, gun cleaning, tumbling, and other dirty stuff happens in a utility room next to my garage. The 550 and 1050 live in the living room.

A close up of the ammo that didn't get used last weekend, and the components to use up the empty cases I have.

Test run of my lee pro 1000 progressive. 50 rounds of 115gr 9mm with wolf primers and 4.0gr of bullseye at 1.120 overall length. This has become my standard plinking load. Have yet to find a 9mm pistol that doesn't like it and that gives me less than decent accuracy with it, usually no more or less accurate with this load than Federal bulk 115gr FMJ.

I trim 460 S&W brass also. Only way to fly. I don't crimp (never had a need) but the consistency in case tension results in noticeable improvements in group size at 100 yards.

^^^ I second that....

I went out and shot a couple new revolvers today. S&W 629-6 SS 5" .44 Magnum and S&W 340PD Airlite .357 Magnum (ouch!) - Scandium frame, titanium cylinder. The 340PD beat the crap out of my right thumb. I need better grips for it.

Also shot the old standby's - Interarms Virginian Dragoon .44 Magnum and Taurus 4" SS .357 Magnum. I shot about 50 each of .357, .38 Special and .38 Special +P, as well as a total of about 30 .44 Special and 30 .44 Magnum before putting the wheel guns away and firing off about 10 mags from my Glock 26 carry gun.

Came home with my brass and added to the brass from the last few range trips then sorted it by caliber. The .44 and .45 stuff is in the tumbler now. I should get the .38 Special, .38 Super and .357 Magnum stuff in there before I go to bed and the 9MM will go in there in the morning.

Since I'm out of .44 Special and .44 Magnum practice ammo, I'll be loading up a bunch of that, as well as some .45 Colt tomorrow.
