New AK blocks available.

New design Universal AK block fits most steel 30 round AK magazines and will convert them to a 10 rounds. Marked for cutting to make 10/20 round tanker mags. The new design features a spring catch which will allow an easy attachment point to the spring. This prevents the block making noise and epoxy can be added at this point to make it permanent. Still allows opening the magazine for cleaning and parts replacement.

New M14 M1A blocks have been added to the store. Use original M14 USGI 20 round magazines to easily make 10/20 magazines without any external modifications.

I picked two of the blocks up today at a local gun show for less than the other types of blocks as well. I had to come here for the picture of where to trim the blocks at for the 20 round P Mags. I may have missed the trim locations on your site but they work great so far and dont increase spring tension.

Good product.

I just placed an order.

Great Design! I would love to hear Bill or Hoffmang's opinion but with the MagBlock in place I don't see how this is any less a permanent 10 round mag than many of the 10 round magazines sold with pistols or that are available from manufacturers.

And it allows us Bullet Button users to enjoy the reliability and performance of the Pmag with minimal effort.

Once again, ingenuity and the free market triumph over incompetence and bureaucracy!

Just tried to place an order on line and had the "review" step after all my CC info was added come up with the wrong order.

Wanted :
1 - bulk pack of the USGI 10/30's
6 - 10/30 Universal AK blocks

Are you all having any issues with your site? Could it be an issue with skipping paypal and going CC?

In Paypal it will show it will show each item separated by a comma. I get an email through the website with the amount of each item. It does help if you add a quick note to the comment area with payment as to exactly what you want to order or the type of blocks for bulk pack orders. Thanks

Thank you! Since the lower spring attachment point on Pmags is replaced that should be considered quite permanent even without epoxy I'm sure the legal experts would agree.

I got some at the Cow palace Gun show. These work great! I wish I would have bought more of them. Now instead of a box of P-Mag parts I have working P-Mags!
Great product, quality! Well made.

Man oh man, I had this idea about a year ago, and never did anything about it....congrats on the idea, and making it into reality. I just ordered a pair to check out.

Also on the legal side, I can not see how this is not permanent, as the original floor plate is no longer part of the magazine.

have any of the legal minds chimed in on whether replacing the floor plate with this block and epoxying the spring would be considered permanent?? I did not see response on here...is there one in any other thread...thanks

I started this link with a poll when they first came out. Most agree that they are permanent since the lower part of the magazine is replaced. Technically what more could you want when the part needed to make a high capacity magazine is removed and replaced?

Very nice! Great design.

I would STRONGLY recommend permanently affixing the bottom of the magazine after installing your block. It can still easily be made back into a 30rd magazine by removing the block and putting standard guts in the mag body which are for sale online.

Permanent is open to interpretation by the law and there is no solid definition. I would not want to try to defend a mag with this product that is not sealed shut in court. Rivets are very grey area as well since they can be removed easily.

I have had blocked mags end up in police departments confiscated from customers over the years by LEO and I have never had an issue. That is because they were unable to get the mags open without destroying the magazine. Not for a lack of trying on their part.

It all comes down to what a judge will decide if you end up in court. Just ask yourself if you are absolutely sure that it is permanent. Cause the consequences are very severe if it is ruled otherwise.

I wish you the best with your product. I see more genius inventions on Calguns than anywhere else. Us Californians have to adapt and be creative and the results are Bullet Buttons, Prince 50's, Raddlocks, Calegalmags 10/30 Pmags, Thordo's Ultimate Bullet Button Tool, Wonder Wrenches, Kydex Grip Extensions, and much more....

Keep up the good work.

Probably not the best thread for a discussion on permanence with the new market place rules. We should use this other thread for that.
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...=1#post5722332

Permanent is open to interpretation. I don't know of any cases yet with blocked magazines to be argued, but I could be wrong. If a cop starts taking magazines apart (Tampering with evidence) in an attempt to charge you with a crime, well I'm sure some people at the Calguns Foundation would be interested in that. I agree it's best to be safe and just epoxy it closed if you are worried. Cops can give you a hard time even if they are wrong.

So what do you have when you take apart a high capacity magazine? A REBUILD KIT!

Put it back together with our block and its a 10 round magazine. Take it apart its a rebuild kit again...

Put it back together without a block (in CA) and you have a felony.
