Default Riverside PD vs Riverside SD interview time
Hello,
I tried to search about Riverside PD CCW, but didn't fine much information on RPD...

Anyway, about 3 weeks ago, I sent an email to Riverside SD about CCW interview, and received interview date of November 2018! So after getting over the shock of long wait (2 years and 4 months), I noticed that Riverside PD also offers CCW if you live in the city of Riverside. So I sent an email and received interview date of November 2014! Two years less than RSD!!

First, I wanted to share this information incase anyone else that lives in the City of Riverside, and have not requested an interview.

Second, does anyone have recent experience with getting CCW through Riverside PD?

You already missed your appointment with RPD! November 2014 is 20 months ago. Do you mean November 2016?

someguy,

Would you mind if I asked you which deputy emailed you back with your interview date?

I was also thinking about applying with RPD but couldn't find anyone that has gotten a permit issued from them... Some people say they don't issue but it seems like they do on their website. It would be worth a try just scared to get denied

I don't know which deputy responded to my email. I sent email to CCW@riversidesheriff.org, and I received email back from same.

I am very hopeful about RPD. The POC at RPD was super responsive and helpful.

We'll see what happens... Hopefully they issue.. I have my interview scheduled in November also.. Keep me posted on your status and how it goes.
