Looks great! But I would move it back to the upper receiver instead of the handguard to avoid any zeroing issues.

Looks like a Vortex Strikefire. I use to own one. Great scope. The Vortex SPARC mini red dot is even better. I have one on my BCM middy.

+1 on moving the Red Dot to the receiver side, I line mine up just centered over the mag well. It's your call though, have great time at the range.

Like other said. Best to move the sight back so its mounted to the upper and not the hand guards.

However if you like it forward like that you can always pick up a cantilever mount like this one.

Default You'll like the Strikefire

I have two, one on my Stag 2HTL(red/green Strikefire) and one on my Spikes Custom (red only Strikefire.) As stated previously the SPARC is also an excellent red dot in a smaller lighter package as well. Fact that you get a 2 X magnifier, flip covers, and ACW mount, a waterproof optic with a lifetime warranty is also pretty damn sweet. I can also say their customer service is top notch and stands behind their product 100%, from personnel experience. All for 1/2 to 1/3 of the $$ for one of my Aimpoints. For hurting bad paper, its a easy sell Mine zeroed very nicely mounted just above the mag well if that is any help. Was very close to zero with little adjustment.

Very nice rifle BTW.

Oh, should have looked closer.

OP, looking forward to your report. I've been playing with the idea of getting one of those or the SPARC.
